I never had time for Kinnear the manager and the time he represents at NUFC is better left as a fleeting memory. Having said that, it's no way to see out your remaining years and I do feel for him and his family and I hope they get all the help they need.

I think it's fair to say they aren't "desperate" for it and aren't sat in thr wings with baited breath as there's plenty of other deals on the table of more importance, diversity of portfolio and all that. However, it's also perfectly plausible that if the deal gets the green light by some miracle then they'll be back at the table as soon as they can. It's not over until all avenues are explored, it's not worth getting tied up over, best left to play out, but is definitely unfair on the club and fans as we're all left in limbo like a piece of driftwood clogging up the PL.

I totally agree, however, devils advocate, is the attachment to the CAT case that they bought their season ticket in the belief that the takeover was imminent and there were "no red flags"?

Can't see where the first win is coming from at the moment. Tactically inept, defensively fragile, slow and weak in attack and prone to physical and mental fatigue. We've not got a great squad but our first 11 is capable of so much more than its showing. There is a desperate need for a managerial change, sadly, for SD FC that's not coming any time soon. We stick with Bruce we get flushed this season.
