All our best football has came from his movement and Shelvey putting the ball over the top No doubt, great movement and some great runs for Shelvey to ping them over the top to him but he's useless and the move breaks down every time. Is it worth sticking with him and hoping that just once maybe it'll come off for him or shall we bring Slimani on and see if he can give us something more?

Suppose it hinges on the potential of a takeover. This is it for me, 7th or 17th there's not a huge difference in what it means financially to Ashley. Controversial, but if there was a greater divide in prize money as the top 6 wanted then maybe teams would try harder to break into that? I see the logic, but by increasing the prize money for the top 6 places, you automatically strengthen those teams already in it, thus making it harder for those outside of it to break in. It's a tough one to call because you don't want disparity but at the same time there needs to be incentive to try and challenge for outside the top 4

Outclassed, the better team with the better players won, our players didn't really fault tonight but just weren't good enough. I think they can come out of that with pride in what they put into it and it wasn't a thrashing. Lascelles so lucky at the end there! Hopefully Slimani will be back soon and the "easier" matches will help us pull away from the bottom. Chalk it off and move on to the next game.
