Reading through their posts on RTG they genuinely think he's going to get sacked, if not tonight/tomorrow then on Saturday if/when they are confirmed as down. He's made it this far, if Short was willing to sack him to save the club he'd have gone ages ago. Richie has been the stand out player, has played a majority of games though, one or two others could have pushed him if they'd have stayed fit as long but he nicks it for me.

I get that both Burton and Fleetwood were conference sides not so many years ago, but that's irrelevant, both teams have worked hard and deserve to be where they are in the league to use them as bait in an awful attempt at bantz is disrespectful tbh. Neither of us have much bragging rights at the moment, both teams are much better run than either of ours to be where they are on a shoestring.

We have a good spine and if all stay fit we'd walk most games, trouble is it only takes one to be out injured or suspended and it goes to shit as the backups are turgid. Clark, Hayden, Shelvey, Ritchie and Gayle are a great spine but haven't all played together enough. We struggle when one is out, collapse when it's 2 or more. There's a lot of work to be done over the summer, that much is evident.

Depends if Huddersfield have the heart for the fight, if they can string those wins together and we keep performing as we do then there's no way we'll go up, if we get dragged into the playoff places we'll bottle it for sure.

I hate Colback as much as anyone on here, the Ginger bloodless waste of a shirt doesn't deserve to be anywhere near a football pitch. However, yes it was his fault for getting too tight and getting skinned, but if he didn't make that foul Leeds were on the counter with men over and if they'd have scored he'd be getting shredded for not making the foul, fine margins. Lascelles on the other hand, captain clock off, he scored his goal, job done, go again, oh shit we're still playing? He's been a liability for too long now and a great performance from us in what was a tight contest was thrown away. It feels like a defeat because it should have been a victory. Harsh on us, but let's not lose focus here, a few nightmare seconds doesn't change a great performance into a shit one, just a great result into a shit one.

Hayden being back is huge for us.

Not much doubt on automatic promotion now, Huddersfield have severely ran out of steam and are the only ones who could realistically catch us. It'd be a shame not to finish as champions but first and foremost is promotion, by any means. Getting Hayden back sooner rather than later may prove to be the difference between 1st and 2nd, no one else has proved to be of any use in that spot this season.
