If he leaves I'm gone, simple as, I can't follow what Ashley has turned this "club" into and if he loses the best thing that's happened to it since sir Bobby then he can fucking rot in what's left of it for me.

Rafa has probably upset the squad morale with his comments directly and indirectly with the press, but what choice does he have with an estranged owner whom he has no contact with? He has made empty promises and left the club high and dry, gambling with our fate again in complete disregard of anything but his bottom line. As others have said, Rafa has a very rigid system and doesn't stray from that much at all. This wouldn't be an issue if he was given the players he asked for and indeed was promised as Unbeleavable! stated. Bottom line is, Ashley is responsible for the issues at the club, always has been and as long as he's here, always will be. Every manager in the last 10 years has had their hands tied, been lied to and used as a scape goat, yes I include Pardew in that but the difference being he gladly took it up the arse to keep his job. The PR spin is in full throttle and too many people, including some on here, are buying into it. The minute we start booing the players and Rafa, Ashley's won, again! Another scape (escape) goat, another misdemeanour brushed under the carpet. It's time the cancerous, horizontally challenged, leech was gone for good.

Sky can't wait for NUFC to reprise it's role as the biggest circus in town, if they can egg it on a little bit and get the less edumacated on board the boo train then all the better. Aye, clear agenda imo. Started when Ashley's cunt mate who came in a couple of weeks ago, then the interview and broken promises on money, Sky backing Ashley all the way. Yes and I've had to defend Rafa to other supporters today who have basically repeated verbatim that it's his fault moral is low. Hate that average Joe takes Sky as gospel that cannot be questioned, it's infuriating! Aye drives you mad, i get it every day living down here, just a stream of ignorant cunts who believe all the shit spouted about us. I do think Rafa is being a tad negative, i don't think it's affecting the team though, but why would that be ? Oh yeah, just ignore what Ashley and his cronies are doing. Drives me so mad. I'm North West so a little way out the catchment area for NUFC fans but I am surrounded by Man u, Liverpool, Man City, etc and tbh amongst the big sides I have had a lot of sympathy from the supporters, it's the minnows and the southern supporters that have issue with cliche. I agree, Rafa is being negative, if go as far as to say it might even have affected the team spirit, how would it not? But what other choice does he have? He doesn't have council with Ashley directly and I'll bet you the mortgage on my house that sniveling arse lick Penfold won't stand up to the fat bastard. His only way of getting it across to the lying kniving twat is to get the media involved. For all his hard man act, Ashley is a spoilt little fat shit of a kid who doesn't like nasty things being said about him and I believe he'd genuinely actively avoid another fan backlash. He's rolled the dice on squad investment and he's rolled the dice on his little Sky cameo in a hope that he can keep supporters on side and from a lot of what I've read on social media it's worked "he's being honest" "he can't spend 200m like city" etc... hook, line and stinker!

Ironically, strangely akin to buying sports gear from Sports Direct, we can't afford Nike so we're going for the best Slazenger kit money can buy!

This thread is the 4th Sunderland thread on this forum, each thread gets capped at 1000 pages and there are 25 posts per page, so thats 90,225 posts in the Sunderland thread, the majority being about that site. Its took us since the 11th March to do 200 pages, at 25 posts a page. 5000 posts in approx 140 days. They've done 205 pages at 20 posts a page in a month. 4100 in 31 days. Not to mention that everything to do with Sunderland is in this one thread and every other thread in theirs is about us. We're both transfixed on what the others are doing/saying but they have the edge on obsessed.

Probably this because of the fact that Rafa is playing him to his strengths, hes not asking him to do the things we all know he struggles with.

I'm waiting to see what happens, who's going to blink first or if there even is a staring competition going on. Rafa was their one and only chance at redemption and to keep everyone happy, for the first time in Ashley's tenure we've actually had a modicum of togetherness and peace. I will add my name to the list of people that will be done with NUFC for the foreseeable.

I don't know about you guys but I'd be "fewmin" possibly even "seethin" at the possibility/improbability of this: https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/kevin-keegan.1374074/

Yeah, I can see it being a healthy contest between those two as to who should be the first choice. Gray and that Kamoah lad have only got one year left on their contracts. Get both of them, and Abraham on loan, and striking options of Gayle, Gray, Abraham and Kamoah for maybe 15 million would be ok for a first season back in the premiership. I'd rather we went 5-10 million more and got someone whose proven to score 15+ PL goals, but Abraham, Gayle and Gray have all hit 20+ in the Championship, and i'd imagine it would be good for competition as none are clearly better than the other so you wouldn't have someone who expects to start most/every game. It would also free up some money to spend on midfield and defence which is sorely needed. We don't need four strikers when we are only going to be playing with one Kamoah is only 18 so is more one for the future, and he can play out wide as well apparently, so it would really be 3 plus him. If we're going for Gray I'd ideally like Abraham as well, otherwise we'd still need Mitrovic. Typed Kamoha in to google as I was trying to figure out who this lad is. Got some interesting answers. Wasn't quite what I was expecting to find never researched jewish homosexuals before then lol Only the unorthodox ones

They need someone who is larger than life, someone who can play down too much expectations but at the same time deliver front foot football, someone who is unattached so won't cost a pretty penny, someone who can find a talent on a shoestring, enter the man, the myth, the humble legend, Alan the saviour Pardew. It has to happen, absolutely has to.

I haven't bought one single Wronga branded item of merchandise, this will be the first NUFC top I've bought since they took over, I'm glad they've made a decent job of it.

Bullshit, fans loved him because he is the embodiment of football and our club or should have been. If any player symbolised NUFC it was him. Hugely talented, ultimately flawed, ridiculously frustrating, but lovable and no fucking regrets.... NUFC? Oh yeah! One of the many, many reasons you are wrong and HTT is right, I fucking hate Facebook grammar. Also HBA is a god, your argument is invalid.
