I wouldn't really disagree, but I guess what I'm saying is they have nowt going for them, fuck all. We have our fan base and always will it seems even with pricks like Ashley, Pardew et al mugging us off. As much as it drove everyone mad that we still filled the stadium in those dark days could you see many others doing the same? I don't blame them for having free tickets and pink seats given what they watch every week and to say they still get over 30k crowds to watch that is some achievement, free tickets or not. But if they get relegated it'll be the death of them.

despite giving away around 10k free tickets each game? And still having swathes of pink seats?

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

Can't hate them too much for their dislike of Palace and utter disdain of Pardew though. Clearly don't know much about Benitez if they think he'll run to a relegation threatened team in the Premiership though when "managerial merry-go-round is in full swing". -

The FA need to give him some form of ban from football. They are basically condoning his actions if not. Here's been proven to be at best a little bit dodgy, they've given him a handsome pay off, they compensated Sunderland for taking him in the first place, now he gets the chance to get another signing on free plus I'm sure an improved contract to what he was on before. From a financial viewpoint he's laughing. Should be banned from all forms of football in England for this season and possibly next imo, although I'm extremely biased They need to make an example of him of else it's just saying that what he's done is acceptable.

Pinocchio Pardew. Couldn't lie straight in bed. To name but two contradicting quotes.

I see TCD has saved the day again! What would we do without him?
-
Thing is with Clark, he was in a very poor team devoid of confidence, he's taken a step down under an world class manager and looks a lot better albeit at a lower level. It's unfair to judge him as not able to take that step up until we see what he's capable of under the right management and training. Clearly he was poor last year but how much is contributed to the player and how much to other external factors is yet to be seen.

Nil points. I can see them pushing their 15 point season if something drastic doesn't change.

Done dirt cheap?

Looking like Rafa has helped him get his alleged off field problems in check and got him concentrating on his football and working on his fitness. This Shelvey is a quality addition to any side outside the top 6 PL teams, however there's always the fear that the Shelvey we witnessed in the latter Swansea days and our relegation run in could rear his ugly head again. I trust Rafa to keep him on track and I think Shelvey does too.

Isn't it about time we made glue out of this cunt?

I put it on with the background but it got that dull I just stopped watching. Becoming a bit of a joke these days.

I couldn't handle losing to them lot over the border, I'll never hear the end of it but on current form I think they'll win or at least get a draw out of us.
-
I reckon it's his to lose, as uninspiring as it is, I think they'll see him as the safe option. Another 4 years of not giving a shit about England on the cards here.

I used to love being English and supporting England, Euro '96 was awesome, but now, this is nothing to be proud of. England need a Rafa, someone to rebuild the national side, to make the difficult decisions and play to our form players strengths, not shoehorn 10 "names" into a dysfunctional team. That was awful to watch, but I can't remember an England game I actually enjoyed. I'm so disillusioned by the national team, I'm just eager to watch NUFC play again.

One for Yorkie, I see McNamara has agreed to tender his resignation if York don't get a "positive result" in their game today, interesting to see how that pans out.

Had to do a double take on reading this, not sure what angle it was coming from:

The bitterness! fucking hell man, painful that they would think this stuff- but put it in print, hahahahaha That site regularly peddles such ridiculous nonsense and sadly quite a few seem to be taken in by it. No wonder they collectively have the biggest chip on shoulder in football. They seem to be even more bitter since we were relegated. Strange people. it has destroyed them that we have responded positively to relegation, and still pull in 50k, while they appear to be imploding as a club. I know, it's quite amusing isn't it watching them get really angry about us not being angry I'm "seething" mate, I'd much rather lose all our games in the premiership any day of the week.
