Ngl been a bit worried at how we've played recently, the lack of vision without Bruno and our inability to score. Having said that Liverpool won't come with 10 behind the ball and we might find space for Gordon, Almiron and Isak to expose. I would be happy with a draw but we really need a moral boosting win going into the final.

Two powder puff midfields like bald men fighting over a comb. This will either be another bore draw or won by a single goal. Bournemouth were 20th in the form table before coming up against us, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I'd like to think we put that performance behind us and make something of this but worried the slump isn't over yet. Fwiw my Liverpool supporting mate who I'll be watching the game with thinks we'll win.

What worries me about man utd is the fact they can play for the full 90, a lot of their wins/goals have come at the end of the game where legs are tiring. We need to get our goal(s) early and try and survive the onslaught they'll produce at the end and with how jaded our players look at the moment I think its a big ask.

Absolutely this, there's no service at the moment bar floated crosses into the box, with teams sitting back we just play around their box knocking easy 5 yard passes, scared to give it away and hoping for something to materialise.

Undeserved score line that, with better finishing Leeds would have been 2 or 3 up before they tired and let Man u back in it. Poor game, almost as bad as ours yesterday but man u have a way of getting goals even when they look shocking.

I think the first half of the season, the feel good factor of how easy we made last seasons escape look and several players hitting a purple patch at the same time have given us all food for thought. They've set the bar too high for themselves and expectancy has risen with it, its difficult to shift your view when you've been looking up for so long. Isak and Gordon will eventually get more starts and the 3 weeks out will do Bruno a world of good, but ultimately we don't have the bench to be able to give the players the rest they need this season. But we have to keep reminding ourselves this is just the beginning.

ASM taking a lot of abuse on twitter tonight, I thought he worked hard on that left side tonight, made some game defining tackles and started off some good moves. However, he wasn't great in the final 3rd, but who was? Hopefully Targett will be back soon to reignite that partnership as Burn looks like he could use a rest too.
