  1. This is the exact reason we should wait and why they've done such underhanded tactics to unsettle him, they don't want a bidding war, they want us to roll over for a bit of dry pokey bum while they take our prize asset from us and we thank them for the pennies.
  2. Don't be ridiculous, there's no way we sell on deadline day and leave ourselves short for the season ahead.
  3. Hi there, thanks for your interest in our asset Alexander Isak, for avoidance of doubt, you can increment my balls and swiftly walk into the Tyne. The asking price is "Not for sale" and the payment terms are not required. Do one, you bin dipping, narcissistic, entitled pricks.
  4. Far too many defeatist in here, too many willing to just roll over and urinate on themselves for Liverpool, screw them and their rocking the boat two summers running, screw their imminent derisory offer and screw Alexander cry me a river Isak, he's contracted to us for another 3 years and will continue to play for us until an astronomical offer that cannot be refused comes in. £120m??? If you think that we should accept that you're off your head.
  5. Agyemang in on the 60th ftw
  6. They are so much better than us at literally everything, just can't lay a glove on them. We're going to be relying on our tenacity, grit and super-subs, again.
  7. Their first bid is 100% going to be derisory, they think they hold the cards because Isak has thrown a strop and will get him on the cheap, full package of £120m but after add-ons and they can shove it. They don't have the brass to open negotiations, that's why the whole thing has been so cloak and dagger.
  8. I'd say more of a rudderless ship than a travelling circus, ours is an easier and quicker fix, there's something fundamentally wrong with them.
  9. His ego and his agents wallet will be convincing him he can lead the line at Man Utd and bring them back to glory, but the truth is he's still only 22 and raw and needs cultivating, Howe will turn him into a machine, Manchester Circus will ruin him.
  10. Assuming the reports are true and he favours a move to that North West travelling circus over a progressive coach who can get the most out of your game and the promise of Champions League football then he's really very thick
  11. There's definitely talent in there buy I just don't think he's cut out for the PL
  12. He's supposedly available for around £15m that'll get them one of Seskos boots
  13. Financially you're right but optically we're worth a lot more to them than 0.04% and any reputational damage is a strong reflection on their business dealings.
  14. This is what I think too, Yassir has made it blatantly clear he doesn't want him to go anywhere so the fee has to be irresistible, not a cut down price on what we value him at.
  15. And I'd turn every one of them down, he's irreplaceable so he commands an irreplaceable fee
  16. With or without Isak I'm genuinely excited with his prospect, you can see the raw talent there and he has all the physical attributes to make it in the PL, but man imagine we keep Isak and get Sesko?? We could have a crazy good season. But yeah I get what you're saying, I'm sure he believes in his own ability and thinks he can lead the line at Man Utd and the cash that they could throw at him would be enough to turn anyone's head.
  17. If he has any smarts about him he'll come to us, even if he sees us as a stepping stone secretly, he will develop into a fully rounded player, Howe will extract every ounce of ability out of him.
  18. It would have to be Fernández, the rest of the trash have already refused to go and no one wants Garnacho. I think they've blown their load on Cunha and Mbeumo, I'm sure they admire Sesko but rumours are they're not prepared to bid.
  19. After initial denial and defiance to spitting my dummy out and transcribing to the worst possible scenarios I am now feeling a lot more level headed about the situation. I don't feel like this deal gets done this summer, I think Isak will sign a new contract to up his wages and be told he can go on his merry way next summer and he will be happy with that. It just doesn't make sense for us to allow this to happen at a cut price deal when we could command a better price next summer and he could have his pick of teams. I also think that with the right additions this summer and a strong season he may not even want to leave.

I was going to ask you about your authority on camels but I think I'll leave that one, have a thought, I'm currently testing out keto and everything I'm allowed to eat tastes like thousand year old wine corks.

It's just been a tumultuous summer for a myriad of reasons, that ire has got to be aimed somewhere I guess
  22. I can understand people having their noses put out by this but it is what it is, Isak will still bang them in for fun if he doesn't get sold and the club don't want to devalue a prize asset.
  23. Wish there was something we could do about that Liverpool sycophant Romano, he's done all the legwork for the scouse pricks this summer.
  24. We're not gonna settle on a price with Liverpool, they'd have to table an astronomical bid for Yassir and Eddie to change their stance, he's categorically not for sale so Liverpool have to put down enough reddies to change that. Isak gets a bumper contract and stays iyam
