Don't understand why people are against Remy coming here with the current squad that we have. He has already proven that he is useful in the PL. That's more than you could say in January.

I think he would shine with the style Pardew makes us play. If I remember correctly he prefers to play alone at top and is good at it. His last season was a poor one, with half of his goals coming against lower league clubs, so you never now if, he might be past his best.

I don't really get the big distaste everybody has for Owen. Sure, he didn't do his best during his relegation season, but that goes for everybody who played for us that year, and there is a reason for it. He started out really well before he got injured against Spurs and also had a good spell under Keegan.
