  1. It's almost not porn. Nevertheless, she still has some hits.
  2. The thread title should be: "NUFC monitoring rumors"

  4. From that twitter chick: Amy Christophers ‏@EDS_Amy 40m40 minutes ago Paul Simpson agrees deal to work on backroom staff with Steve McClaren at Newcastle United #nufc Maybe time to upgrade her from braindead twitter lies, seems she has a lot of hits.

Isn't our wage bill pretty significant? even compared to teams like Swansea and Southampton? Yes, when looking at the numbers from Swiss Ramble blog, Newcastle has the highest wage-bill outside of the top 6. West Ham Villa Stoke Swansea Palace Soton Everton Newcastle Sunderland 63,9m 69,3m 60,6m 63,2m 45,8m 63,0m 69,3m 78,3m 69,5

Never understood the appeal of London. I have visited both places and like Newcastle much better. The terrain of Northumberland is much more appealing to me than the south of England. But I'm also from Iceland which might have something to do with my opinion.
  7. Nice. Don't think that's good for us, but you deserve to go anyway so I hope you make it and we somehow manage to reel in CR. Would be happy with that!
  8. Sigthorsson makes it 2-1 to ICELAND!!!!!
  9. Buying players from promotion teams is an impossible task, unless they have a release clause. It would be a waste of time chasing them.
  10. & just where would you think Newcastle might be without him then Steve? I didn't have him down for being that ignorant to be honest. I do, most people just listen to the sounds bites "he cleared the debt blah blah" but in reality when you start looking at things the debt is now worse. Gibson isn't going to check out AO.com or google search Swiss ramble. He'll just repeat what he has heard from Sky Sports news and other halfwit pundits who never research things. TBF there is a difference between the debt now and debt then. The debt now is a interest-free loan from the owner. Could easily be turned into equity, but that is not in the owners interest. With the loans he has a way to take money out of the club without paying taxes (the other way is paying the owner dividends or salary). I'm not an accountant so I might be wroong

    Steve McClaren

No, it had something to do with art galleries
  14. Austin scored 18 goals and had 5 assists in 35 games. He's worth 15m imo. We would value him at 35m if he was playing for us.

    NUFC finances

Isn't it less than last year, think last year we got 78,3m now 77,8m.
  16. 9th is right about where NUFC belong innit? Unless we actually buy some really good players (and are we really going to spend that much?), there is no chance we will finish top half. The only team I can see dropping out of the top 10 at the moment is Palace and then you have Everton and West Ham who would also expect to be top half. The club's inadvertent campaign to continually diminish the club and its status continues afoot. Judging by finances we should be the best of the rest (below the top 6). We have the highest income and the highest wage bill. We do have some overpaid players in our squad judging by that.
  17. they'll pay him more as well I'd have thought, why the f*** would he bother? #wetried Newcastle have a higher wage bill than Swansea so not sure they are paying higher salaries (Newcastle 78m v Swansea 63m). He will still have better offers than Newcastle, him and Gylfi are Swansea's best players.
  18. NUFC in the Championship is still better than Forrest in the Championship. Your point still stands!

Will take his time appointing a new manager according to the papers. Have a feeling the appointment will drag on affecting the player recruitment which obviously cannot be done in parallel process. We tried but there was just to little time to get anybody over the line with the best pound for pound value. Happy summer!
  20. 14/15 Cisse banned, tiote injured and midfielders in defence 13/14 had Remy, cisse, tiote and a semi defence (and ben arfa) 12/13 had Cabaye, cisse, tiote, ben arfa and a defence Not sure Pardew would have done much better than Carver, he is still the better manager. In the way that testicular cancer is marginally better than lung cancer. Yeah, agree with that!

  22. What's your second one? Swedish? I don't know how Icelandic schools work (My apologies if you're not Icelandic, for some reason I just think you are ) My second language is Danish. Started learning Danish when I was 10 I think, and English 2 years later. They have changed it now so kids start first with English and then with Danish. German and French doesn't start until your 15-17.
  23. Yup, you got me there, on spelling, well done I do know how to spell lose, I just have to think when I write since English is my third language. You probably have the same problems with your third one.
  24. this is why he needs to be forrin, sick of hearing 'the system can't work, of course it can but not if the people at the front end of it are antiquated dinosaurs who will resist it at every turn Agree with that, kind of basic business that if a system is going to work it needs to be supported top-down. It will fail if a top level director (the manager) is not 100% for it.
