  1. Patrick Warriors were the way forward. Jean-Pierre Papin as owt.... Whey, they were until I got my first pair of (red!) preds. Sorry, this is boring. Maybe when the game has finished I'll start a boot thread.
  2. Jonas squares it, Sam Ricketts gets in ahead of Xisco... corner... cleared...
  3. And anything legal for outside the uk? the only way is to get nufc world and listen that way. Its still Radio Newcastle.
  4. this isn't me meeting a player, but I don't think its quite worthy of a new thread, however it is a player causing havoc to the public http://www.sunderlandecho.com/news/Misfiring-Sunderland-star-has-breakdown.4864913.jp aside from the hilarity of the story, its the name of the woman interviewed
  5. Kenny Deuchar, the doctor that used to play for Gretna is at Real Salt Lake, too.
  6. No chance we could play on grass? I could possibly get 2 nets if that enhances the experience?
  7. If true I do have to wonder why the hell Benitez chooses Heskey to bring back to Anfield rather than Owen. similar to us with Owen, can this happen? Thought they couldn't speak to other PL clubs until June or July?
  8. Ketsbaia's Shiny Head sells programmes, and was telling me that on Thurs they're looking for extras to go to SJP and be part of the crowd for filming (I'm guessing its for this). It was something like 11am - 8pm, and they'll give you a free lunch. Payment is £30 or 2 tickets for the Everton game. Just relaying 2nd hand info, if you're interested I'd suggest ringing the club.
  9. He's managed Bournemouth, West Ham, Portsmouth, Southampton and Spurs over 28 years. He's won the FA Cup and a 3rd Div title (as I said before). If he's happy to talk himself up like that, stating that he's a better coach than the most successful British managers in recent years, and one of the elite in the history of football, he wants to analyse the above stats and ask himself why after 28 years in management, and at 61 years of age he's yet to manage a Manyoo/Arsenal/Liverpool
  10. bloody hell man. Can he not just shut up? I hope to god Adams ignores the fact that Redknapp gave him a job at Pompey, realises the man is a cunt and tells him in nicer terms to go and fuck himself. With regards to your original quote, at the end of the day, managers are judged on winning trophies. Fergie's efforts in just over 20 years at Manyoo, and what he won with Aberdeen beforehand greatly outweigh Harry's one FA Cup, and 3rd division title with Bournemouth, believe it or not. With regards to O'Neill, in similar comparison to Fergie, O'Neill won trophies galore with Celtic, and also got them to the Waffa cup final. O'Neill has also built an excellent team with Villa, who IMO play much better football than Redknapp's pompey.
  11. gutted I had to change commitments at the last minute like, sounded like good craic! If you play again (preferably on grass), I'll go in goal like, and I WILL turn up. Only 5'8, but did play for my primary and secondary schools. Bizzarely switched between there and LB.
  12. Afraid not. Afraid so http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport/ on the right (I assume you mean MOTD, not MOTM???)
  13. bloody hell. The way they're building up Manyoo - Chelsea!!!!!
  14. he's in Revolution at this moment in time according a mate who has just texted me.
  15. fucking irritating the 2nd game on MOTD is what was a televised 0-0.
  16. Christ, the stick he is getting on here is ASTOUNDING. [/HTT] If it wasn't serious it would be funny. The way he first just stood and let his man go, arms aloft, and then point to Coloccini just as Cole was pulling the trigger was vintage. I'm sick of Taylor playing with his arms out, constantly pointing at others. He seemed to do it more than ever today. A bit like Andy O'Brien who constantly seemed to play with one arm raised in the air.
