Being bias, I'm going to say our fans were exceptional yesterday, that was my first away game in a while, and as far as I can remember, the first where we sang for most of the game. On the other hand though, it has to be said that the Blackburn fans were piss poor. Not until the 3rd goal did they really start to sing.

same here, but what I can only guess were members of the "ultras" could have got us kicked off yesterday for pulling off light fittings and not shutting up when told to on the York-Blackburn leg of the journey. I can see it where they're coming from in a sense. For a lot of people (obviously none of us) to watch your team in say, Athens, would mean taking a Wednesday off work, and more than likely a Thursday. Then you're probably still celebrating until the weekend so count the Friday too. Whereas if its on a Saturday, at a push you might only need the Friday off. Hence it is better for families. But then I could say are Champions League finals really a "family event" etc. I can see where Platini is coming from, but then again there isn't too much wrong with Wednesday.
