It's mental. We're in the better position yet we're still having to pin our hopes on another result. -
if ever there was one picture to sum up John Carver.

Just saw a stat on MOTD2 there - Hull have never won a PL game in May. -
Forum bet on Hull next week in the hope of jinxing them?

Van Gaal doesn't strike me as someone who would just field a team of kids/fringe players because there's nowt to play for. Can someone please back this opinion up with factual evidence to provide a glimmer of hope? -
Cannot see Man Utd losing next week, like. Just hope to fuck I'm right.

Witty as f*** Burra fans signing "you're getting sacked in the morning" to Warburton. Whey nar, you bunch of freaks.

Lee Tomlin definitely looks like he has the physique of a man who will last 90 minutes week in, week out in the Premier League.
-
Just done the obvious and watched his ScoutNation compilation on YouTube. Pretty much every goal is scored inside the 18-yard box, many of which are tap ins or headers so at least we'll actually have someone getting into position. Looks like the way we'll fuck this up is if we don't bother signing any players with the capability of actually getting the ball to him in that position.

Eagerly awaiting some Lee Ryder-fuelled guff saying we could "do worse" than approach Ancelotti if he's given the boot by Real.

Waiting to make a £3m move for Aubameyang and an approach for Mevlut Erdinc, before narrowly missing out on Mitrovic. But that's ok, we'll end up with Federico Macheda. I would be happy with Charlie Austin if we are willing to pay for him. But we all know Ashley isn't. His 13 goals would of pushed us into the top half tbh. Would love us to try and sign Austin because 1) in theory he should be fairly attainable (until we bid 37p and a half-eaten doughnut) and 2) you know he'll score goals unlike some bang average bloke from France that likes to fall over (Riviere) What's Austin going to cost, 10m? 15m? Spend that on a forrin and he'll probably score the same or more than Austin. Spend 4m you get s****. Who? Think there's more chance we'll be taken to the cleaners for an average foreign player rather than sign a proven goalscorer. Wouldn't be surprised if Austin ends up at Spurs or somewhere, tbh though.

Nobby's going to be made assistant manager of Peru, apparently.

It's in our own hands. Just beat QPR, simple as. Do that (har har har) and we *should* be safe.
