So this guy thinks he's equally good, or better, than Tioté and Cabaye (granted he's going to play MID)? As much as I trust Carr's judgement, I find it alarming that quotes in the media suggest he wants reassurance of guaranteed first-team football. I have no doubt he'll get to play many games, he just needs to understand that he'll have to show he's up for it and prove himself. The quotes from his dad (if true) should not have found their way to the newspapers. Good luck to him if he signs - hope he's fucking Godlike and take EPL with storm just like Cisse.

I rest my case.... In fact:

Anita’s father revealed: “The clubs are agreed on a fee, but we’re not sure yet about the move. Vurnon first wants to know what his plans are for him. Does he want Vurnon for right-back, or for left-back? Or in midfield? These are important questions in making his choice. He needs answers to these questions. Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4487632/Vurnon-Anita-wants-assurances-from-Newcastle.html#ixzz23b3iPjaJ And the answer to those Qs are: We don't fucking know. Your son will be competeing against other players for a first team spot, and we don't know whether he will adapt best to playing RB, LB or MID in the PL.

Useless "article": http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4480178/Swansea-eyeing-a-bid-for-Hannovers-Mohammed-Abdellaoue.html Nevertheless, I'd have a look at him for £3 mill.... nice 3rd choice tbh.

And I suppose they already knew that any given player (who choose L'pool over us) will flop.

"I’d Hate to go... but I will for right club" HATEM BEN ARFA has told Europe’s top clubs: Make me an offer I can’t refuse. Ben Arfa insists he is settled on Tyneside but admits he would quit the Toon if the right side came calling. The France Euro 2012 star said: “If I do not have a really, really serious proposal, I’ll stay. “If a big club comes, but does not propose something interesting — that is to say, the coach really wants me — I’ll stay. “If I do not feel the confidence of the new coach 100 per cent, I will not leave. “I still have three-year contract. But I know it can go fast.” Link: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4361695/Hatem-Ben-Arfa-transfer-alert.html
