Sacked in the morning *fingers crossed*
-
Biggest mistake of the season is not getting rid of this clown. He'll either cost us the place in EPL or cause a mass exodus in the summer... HA! or even both .......
-
f*** me... he's got a beard now? It looks just as s*** as the football he's making us play atm.
-
Well, you know, not everyone judge him by match-to-match performance. I stand firmly by my statements that he should be sacked. Blaming injuries,hard/difficult fixtures or whatever just ain't an excuse that should be accepted. These things can happen any manager. What makes a difference is how you manage with what you got. And he really should not be flirting with the drop zone with the squad he's got. Giving this man an 8-year contract is a sign of stupid gambling, not a sign of 'trying' to be consistent.
-
Dear stat geeks, out of curiosity how has the new Southampton manager done compared to Pardew?
-
While some might disagree, I think he should get the sack. For me, he is not the man to drive this club forward.
-
Best signing of the day would be seeing this guy walk...

Alan "hoof-ball" Pardew needs to leave. Hope (eventhough its at best wiseful thinking) he's given the boot by monday.
-
10. See you in Championship.
-
Needs to go asap. See ya'll in Championship next year!

Can't possibly see Coloccini leave unless he or the new club in Argentina pays Ashley what he wants. That's, at the very least, reassuring.

So where is this Remy......... http://bravellir.com/gallery/d/6888-1/tumbleweed2.gif

Good post, Mike. Just to add to your comments about Simpsons and Williamson, and the need for upgrades. I litterally went like when they (Pardew/Ashley/Llambas) claimed that no matter what selling club they approched it was difficult agreeing a fair price... the "right price".(i.e. Debuchy). I mean, what the fuck do they expect other clubs to do? Sell their Tiote's, Cabaye's, Cisse's and so on to us for peanuts. Of course others were painfully aware of the ridiculous low fees we'd gotten Cabaye and Tiote for. There were lots of media forcus on Newcastle, the scout network etc. The thing is, Pardew/Ashley/Llambas should have ignored that and strengthened the side. If they trust Carr's judgement, then why does it matter weather you pay £5, £6 or even £7 million if that player ensures that you build on previous achievements? It's beyond me, and I don't buy in to their lies. I think Kevin Keegan sums it up perfectly in the interview in my signature.

... Like I've should have said it myself...

Well, knowing from past transfer windows that Mike Ashley is stingy, the moment we propelled up the league table and secured a 5th place, I had a creepy feeling a crap season were to follow. Little did I know we were going to fight a relegation battle. Credit to Ashley for actually having the guts to go for a "Everton/Arsenal/...." type of model. When that model works it's always nice, but it doesn't. How much has Everton and Arsenal actually won in the last years...? Not much to show for... I wonder what led him to believe Alan Pardew could be anything like Moyes or Wenger. Right now, both you reading this post and I, could do just as good of a job as Pardew. We had a paper-thin squad last season, I'm not sure paper is thin enough to describe what we have now. It's truely shocking and frustrating/disappointing Newcastle did not grab the chance and invested during the summer to push through. For the second time this evening, in the right thread this time, I wish Ashley would just fuck off. I want a rich owner willing to invest and take risks to push us up the league!

This could easily prove to be Rafa Benitez RvP transfer. Two goals in his debut.... Fuck Mike Ashley's wage policy... when you have a proven goal-scorer like Demba Ba in your side, you should pay up to keep them, not letting them go for peanuts....
-
Was thinking earlier that his excuses were starting to remind me of Souness. Every thing is every one's fault except his. Oh, and if he was that good of a manager (by actually manage to manage), then I'm sure he would be able to work something better out. Because, at the moment he's losing every match... so in that sense any other person that could come in and win... or actually just draw, would be better.... it's a fact.

I find it strange how some people on here can actually defend this guy. Let look back a few months... This guy was awarded "Manager of the year", and oh boy! has he lived up to the words the year. He started this season with vitually the same squad that ended 2011/2012 in 5th place. I'm sure Ashley made Pardew aware of the restricted policies he had to work under when he first was appointed. And if he for some reason didn't, I'm sure he became aware of his working conditions when he signed an 8-year contract (which in my opinion was 5 years too much). Injuries happens all the time. It's not something new. A few years back in time (pre Ashley era) Newcastle were cursed with injuries. So to blame things on injuries does not make a good excuse for me, and Pardew should be well aware that most people look through his post-match comments. To me it seems like he has lost the dressing room. This club is in such a bad form at the moment (look at the graphical stats in post above), and we have recently lost our best goalscorer for peanuts, that I really fear for Newcastle's survival in the EPL. For what it's worth, should we get relegated one more time under Ashley, I'd lose the last tiny hope I have of becoming a solid side under Ashley's ownership. God, I wish he'd sell up and that some filthy-rich Quatar Sheiks bought us.

Oh yeeeeah, this comes from the guy who 'gave' us Nicky Butt, Gabriel Obertan and the all time high-scoring Alan Smith.
-
I 'promised' to come back and 'judge' Pardew and the team's performance after ten games (http://tyneandwear.sky.com/newcastleunited/article/38928). ..........It's christmas and there's just way too many reasons to not start a life-long rant..... all I'm gonna say is 15th place after 19 games..... it's a fucking disgrace....

This guy's not given the booth yet? Oh well, I'll log on to this section again in two weeks time.

Would you have him back? And for what price?
