I’m sorry but this is getting to Pardew or Bruce levels of, if we get something from the game it’s despite the manager not because of him. Hall on the bench again? Murphy starting again? Wotermade on the bench again? 4-3 fucking 3 again that hasn’t worked because every manager worth his salt knows how to play against it because we have played it every game. We have got half a team sat in the bench that practically any other manager would have starting. And people are happy for him to oversee the rebuild?.. really?! And it’s irrelevant if he doesn’t pick the new signings because this season and especially today shows he will just not play them. Absolute madness.

I think Howe has been a great manager for us, but I support Newcastle not whichever manager we have. I can't believe anyone who supports Newcastle can't see what's happened this season. We have regressed at an alarming rate and that is on the manager. Yes we have lost our main striker but so have a lot of other clubs lost a lot more players than us and looked alright. I think it's his time to go.

What annoys me about transfers, and this is all transfers not just Newcastle, is how long it takes to agree a fee with the clubs. Now this obviously will be too simplistic but one knows how much they want and the other knows how much can or are willing to pay. Set up a meeting and decide it there and then. In reality it should take 15 mins max. But eveyone pisses about taking days or even weeks to respond. Whilst I understand that things have to be signed off and agreed but before the meeting the top brass surely can say don’t accept under x amount and don’t go over x amount and anything within those boundaries can be acceptable straight away. Even payment structures and bonuses both received and given should be agreed by both parties hierarchy before meeting.

I know there will be more to it than what anyone realises, but we really need to move a bit quicker than we have been. Set a maximum price... Offer what we hope to get them for.. If the first bid is knocked back go in quickly with a better offer but within the maximum limit. It's not rocket science but we seem to drag it out more than most other teams seem to. Like I said I know there will be more factors involved but surely we can have a system in place to make it run much more smoothly than it obviously has been.

Also if their sponsors suddenly decide to not renew or massively reduce their payments (unlikely I know but still a possibility) then, with all that debt they would be in grave danger of going under. Now we, with no debt and with some of the wealthiest owners in the world. Who are not allowed to invest however much they want into the club that they own. Can't push on in case they decide to sell up and leave us in debt and unable to finance the club as it is and thus would be in danger of going under. Hold on...... This is looking suspiciously like double standards here.... Could this whole PSR thing just be to protect the previous bigger clubs and actually have nothing to do with sustainability?

No kneejerk reaction and I'm not calling for his head, but he has to share the blame for that. Subs were strange as they didn't seem to have any reason to them. for example why move Gordon up top for about five minutes disrupting the team if you're going to bring Wilson on a few minutes later? I know it's probably just me that is bothered by stuff like this but the whole second half tactics just seemed slapdash and clueless. Hold on, hold on… so let me get this straight, you brought VAR in to make sure you got the “big” decisions right. You know maybe important ones like, I don’t know…goals? Then when a ref for whatever reason, view blocked or incompetent, gets the decision wrong… we are now supposed to just stay with the onfield decision?! I know they are talking all this rubbish about re-refereeing the game but I think getting goals allowed or disallowed right should be the one thing that it’s definitely used for regardless of wether the refs made a genuine mistake or is just usless
