To be fair I would have played longstaff as the deepest midfielder, which would allow Bruno to play more forward like he did last season. Plus Willock is a much better option from the bench later in the game than longstaff is.

Another thing that hasn’t been mentioned is how no Palace player protested about the goal. Normally there would be a crowd of players surrounding the referee.

The only thing I can't understand is if we are playing with Wood who is, should we say limited in his approach, then surely we should play with St Max on the right and Miggy on the left so they can ship first time crosses in. Playing with these popular inverted wingers is all well and good if you have quick intelligent forwards darting about in the box looking for a through ball or creating space for the winger to shoot, but not so good when you have a fairly immobile target man being marked out the game due to his lack of movement.

Style of play and the fact that CHO has been used as a wingback at times for Chelsea shows that he can get back and do the dirty stuff as well

I would be quite pleased with CHO, I think he could do quite well under Howe plus I think being a regular starter would help. Don’t think it will happen though

This could be one push back too many.... UEFA might have shot themselves in the foot here. All it takes is one high powered legal fight against this and all of UEFA's /PL's plans to protect the so called big clubs could come crashing down and work against the club's they are trying to cosy up too
