so he's been highly consistent over a sustained period then? not consistently brilliant, nor consistently terrible, just consistent he's a massive upgrade on pardew so i'd take him in a heartbeat but i don't think he'd be the right fit for us personally, we only really take to managers whose aim is to go out and win games You make it sound like the media are right; we'd rather lose 4-3 than win 1-0. well we don't win 1-0 anymore so might as well lose 4-3 aye Losing 4-3 consistently would be a massive improvement on our current predicament! I think Moyes is a very good manager and far better than anyone else that might realistically work with Mike Ashley and who Mike Ashley might reasonably appoint.
-
Perhaps, but they've not finished outside the top 8 since 2006. That level of consistency for a club like Everton is something we couldnt even contemplate at the minute.
-
But Moyes has been highly successful at it over a period of many years at a club of a similar size, budget and stature to us. Given that the alternatives are likely to be stick with Pardew or appoint someone highly uninspiring, Moyes would be a fantastic appointment. Wouldn't be surprised if Villa went for Moyes if he got sacked incidentally.
-
Would snap your hand off for Moyes. Massively optimistic but he might be a fairly good fit under Ashley- successful under a low budget and a long term appointment.

Liverpool and Arsenal away will be 2 hefty defeats and a home game against relegation scrapping Cardiff will most likely end in a draw or defeat. Bottom half looks more likely than not and this season has been out the window for a while. I dont know how Ashley or anyone could justify keeping Pardew in a job for next season.

Fairly surprised since Palace was sold out. Guess it is a weeknight. The 2 turnstiles are Leazes Level 7 so guess Everton won't have as many up as Palace did on Saturday. Wait. There aren't 70000 Everton fans coming? Rolls Eyes Smiley thingy. They're usually quite well supported up here and i'd expect them to have about 2K minimum usually, perhaps not tonight? Tonight is the first away of the season that hasn't sold out. Probably with it being midweek just before pay day. And our s*** away form. Fancy a score draw tonight. If you don't score at least one set piece against us I will be staggered.

Against Saudi Arabia IIRC. This whole question has been a farce
-
Maybe to change my question to "scored in a world cup" it would only be 3 players then.
-
Correct, and I forget the last one! Jimi Traore?
-
3 players to have won the premier league, been relegated from the premier league and played in a world cup.

Taking aside the obvious feel good factor that has been taken from the club by selling Cabaye and not replacing him, there is still a chance to finish higher than 8th. For instance, we play Man United, Tottenham and Everton all at home now and if we pick up in form these three fixtures could be key. Win all of these ( ) irrespective of other fixtures and the picture looks a lot different. -
Hope they dont win because I dont want to have to listen to fans signing "We're all going on a Yewrupean Tewer"

Theyve only conceded 3 or more goals twice this season, and that was before they appointed Pulis. Think that most likely neither team will score more than 1 goal. -

After the buzz of the world cup, next season could finally be the time we see him realise his potential!

All we need now is for Cardiff to turn over Man Utd 6-0 and we'll finish the day in 7th!

Get those clapper boards that clubs like Fulham give to their fans to make a noise. Get JD sports to pay for them in return for their logo to dominate the clapper board. Hand the clapper boards out on arrival to SJP on a televised match and then all of a sudden, one of SD's competitors has its logo displayed at SJP to the world for free.
