The Gypsy who put the curse on us way back when.

Are they definitely big mates? If so I would like to think that Feregie is more professional than that? So it's been said, some journo asked Shearer what he thought of them being such big mates and he just smiled, he's not going to say "well the red nosed bastard hates me for turning him down twice". As for Ferguson being professional, ask Sheffield United what they think after West Ham beat Man U at Old Trafford and sent Sheffield Utd down. He's big mates with Curbishley anarl.
-
Or looking for a move darn sarf after they get relegated? Bardsley's OG was class like.
-
Where did Tevz go just after that game??I have no faith in Manchester United..they're as crooked as Dale Winton. (I think bent is the word you're after) As for the rest it was "you let us have Tevez and we'll allow you to score" Allegedly. Oh but I forgot, there's no such corruption in the Premiership, or old pals acts.

If Hull win and we win and Sunderland lose their two remaining games then Sunderland are down. If they draw one game and we win it's on goal difference. On present goal difference it means us but if they've lost by two goals they go down, I think that's it. Hull will win - Ferguson will lie down for his big pal Phil (who he recommended for the Derby job and is big chummy mates with). So that's it left to the Mackems to help us. And yes it's all true about we should have won it through the season bla bla.

There was a drunken conversation in the pub on Saturday which went along the lines of:- Does Webb belong to a Footballing Masonic Lodge (ex policeman?) which also consists of Ferguson (Govan born and bred), Allardyce (prize prick) and Phil Brown (another prize prick)? Really when you think about it there's no other reason why Ferguson would be "close" to these two dingbats. So what it concluded was that we're fucked on Sunday because Man U will lay down to Hull (as they did to West Ham when Tevez scored the winning goal) meaning of course that Curbishley must have funny trousers and an even funnier handshake. All a bit tongue in cheek and alcohol fuelled but stranger things have happened.

The only ones that would fit would be Ashley himself or his black bodyguard Why do you assume he's Ashey's bodyguard? I thought he was head of Sales or something? Oh aye he's black, therefore he's a bodyguard

So from now on every player who stands beside a goalkeeper will be penalised?- I remember somebody fouling Given earlier on in the season and the goal stood, Vidic does it all the time, Bolton, Stoke do it all the time. Nolan did it all the time at Bolton and got away with it. They either penalise everybody or nobody. How anyone on here can say it's a foul, well I just shake my head in disbelief. Christ, not one pundit on any footballing programme has agreed with Webb, how can anyone on here? As for saying Nolan was obviously guilty because of his reaction, that's stupid as well, he was as gobsmacked as everyone else.

It just means Shearer doesn't want him anywhere near the training ground, no doubt mumping and grumping about everything and anything. Well done Shearer, about fucking time somebody took a hold.

Great article, also I spotted this comment below it, there are the usual shite "deluded fans" "big club little club" garbage posts but thought this was worth a mention. "I'm a Liverpool fan and my over-riding impression having watched Newcastle's last few games, including Sunday, is that of a team that doesnt care. At this time of year relegation threatened teams are the ones you want to avoid because, although they are tat, they usually give 110% and hassle the life out of you. And if they go down, its not for a lack of effort, they've gone down fighting. Newcastle could not be any further removed from that. They stood off Liverpool to the point where closing down was entirely absent, gave Gerrard and Kuyt insane amounts of time on the ball and let Alonso and Gerrard shoot from 20 yards at will. This says more about them than the shoddy marking and ropey formations. Because even if teams are disorganised they can still try their best. Newcastle didnt. In Duff, Smith, Butt, Barton, Viduka & Owen they probably have the biggest collection of well paid, washed up has beens any teams ever housed. They are crying out for a bit of desire. If I were Shearer i'd play the reserves & youth team lads against 'borough, they can't play any worse." Posted by: Richard | 5 May 2009 15:57:45

Whatever anyone thinks of the tackle, or his being in prison, or his attack on the Man City teammate or whether he is a decent midfielder or not, the fact is he is a liability and no longer a valuable asset. He will be picked out by referees, other fans, Sky and MOTD as Joey Barton, dangerous psychopath, whether he is or not. He takes too much attention from the team as a whole. Shearer has obviously binned him and we just have to get on with the fact we are a player down for the last three games. Perhaps Allardyce might buy him for Blackburn.

I'd go along with this, but seriously - some of the posts ranting against us, not just on other teams boards, but on the likes of football365 and the BBC are beyond belief. Genuine hate. And I'd bet if you could actually question them, you'd find their hate has no sane basis, but is either some inexplicable envy (why FFS ?) or originating from the rags. Aye but I always get the impression the BBC and 365 Boards are populated by glory hunting 15 year olds (or 30 year olds with 15 year old minds) who have never been to any football match.

If he drops Owen it does indeed prove that he has cojones.
-
I just get the impression he's desperate to avoid injury in case his move to wherever falls through. He's not captain material at all and wouldn't be captain at any other club. Beye should be Captain - at least he looks like he could give a shit.
-
I didn't realise we were talking "Most petulant player of the year" award. The whole thing is a farce, but we all know that footballers have shit for brains.
-
Que? That would be like going back to your ex girlfriend/wife after she had taken all your money, your car your Wii and the extra money you'd been hiding in a vase to pay for your season ticket.
-
I see the Zog is up to his old tricks, carrying the ball for 100 yards and not passing to whoever is in the centre but shooting and missing by a mile. We need Cattermole to take out one of Blackburn's better players, christ knows who that would be then.
-
I know Blackburn have more a chance of staying up than most of us but how absolutely fantastic would it be to see Allardyce take Blackburn down? He seems to have lost a lot of journalists with his rant and pet lip against Benitez, about soddin time.
-
I've only had fleeting glances of this game but why on earth does Andy Gray think Boro have a chance of getting something from it? Howay Arsenal and howay Wigan.
-
The good thing is, at least you didn't get a 3rd just before half-time. Why - so they didn't bleat on about the 3-5 score years ago? Haway the Spurs. We need the Mancs to lose.
-
Former Man U player Paddy Crerand I think Biggest knobend of a Man U ex player ever.
-
Good to see someone in a Newcastle shirt able to place a corner, haven't see that all season. Ranger is big like, I thought he'd be a midget, why his goal was disallowed is a mystery. Get him and Danquah on the subs bench for Monday. Even the biased Man U commentators are praisong up Ranger and Danquah, that must be a first.
-
he has the stupid problem of holding on to the ball waiting for movement instead of hoofing it into the box even if theres no-one there. Ever ask yourself why there is no-one there? His problem is that his brain and his feet are about 5 minutes ahead of anyone else on the team's. If we go down he'll be snapped up by a bigger club than ours and then we'll see his real talent.

Wellbecks penalty decision Absolute stone waller, cost Utd the game My heart bleeds, Riley doesn't give "UTD" a penalty shocker.
