  1. Does anyone have an idea on whether the non transferable ticket policy for the final is enforced?
  2. It is ridiculous because amortisation is an accounting concept designed to spread capital expenditure over the useful life of an asset and NOT intended to be shoehorned within a calculation to determine sustainability. Sustainability is determined by the balance sheet and projected cashflow of an organisation and has nothing to do with accounting policies such as amortisation. Amortisation is typically stripped out when assessing sustainability because it can be manipulated by accounting policies. Hence the use of EBITDA as a metric (Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) .
  3. Absolutely. That Man United team was entirely beatable as we proved a few weeks later by dominating them. Just a shame the final coincided with our dip, Bruno out of team in build up, and the goalkeeping fiasco
  4. Great goalkeeping - Nunez was heading towards the corner flag
  5. Probably giving Merson too much credit here but if his point is that the pool of teams that Isak could go to is very small, given that it would have to be a champions league team, who don't currently have a top striker, and have the the necessary PSR headroom, he is correct. However, the fact he doesn't mention Liverpool (who have Nunez and an out of contract Salah) and he throws Villa in the mix, tells me that Merson is doing his typical thing of thinking that the whole world revolves around his former teams.
  6. Ton of money seriously boosted by our ownership group ironically enough
  7. I am sure the "it's too late to take a corner because the alloted injury time minutes have already passed" rule only applies when we are on the attack and not the other way round
  8. Wayne Routledge went on to have over 250 appearances for Swansea, mostly in the premier league, and played and assisted in their 2013 League Cup victory. We were mostly dogshit during this same period.
  9. Arteta has created this. Similar to Klopp, if a ref makes a borderline decision against his team it's the top sports news story for the next week. It's all intended to pressurise refs from making calls against them in future, whilst often distracting from a poor performance or defeat. From memory, I cannot remember Howe ever going down this route, which he deserves great credit for.
  10. Schar cannot be leaving that ball, even if a teammate gives an instruction to do so.
  11. The perception is in the context of past referee decision making. I can't remember a foul like that being given as a red card. They are always given as yellows. The contact stopped a breakaway but had little force. I think it was a shocker, but funny because it was Arsenal. Just a shame wolves were too crap to take advantage.
  12. His all round play was superb during his time here. In particular his link up with Beardsley.

    Joelinton

I rate Anderson's technical ability very highly.

    Joelinton

Particularly against the more technical teams where Joelinton's bulldozing can be less effective
  15. If Bruno plays it first time it is not an issue. Bruno chooses to take the risk which invariably does in those situations. I would hazard a guess that is half a dozen goals caused by Bruno now in similar fashion
  16. Yep. The Gabriel incident was magnified post match by arsenal fans performing mental gymnastics by realising that the ball wasn't out of play, and there was no offside, so that was the last remaining argument to demonstrate the systematic refereeing conspiracy against their historic club.
  17. Amusing that Arsenal fans are so blinkered by their weird love in for Isak, that despite being the biggest moaners in the world football, they didn't seem too bothered about his nudge in the build up to goal. If Joelinton had been involved in a potential foul in the build up to the goal, like he was at last years win at SJP, they would be releasing statements after the game and threatening strike action.
  18. The change to 5-5-0 formation and a low block was a masterstroke
  19. Fuck off matterface If arsenal take 2 mins to arrange each corner, Dubs can do the same for his goal kicks
  20. We need to keep pressing Lewis-Skelly, he is taking risks and I have a feeling it could bite him in the arse
  21. Ref gives free kick and yellow for that but nothing for trossard yanking down Isak in the same position
  22. Isak swap deal for their set piece coach
