  1. Above us. Would they finish above where we finished last season? Will we finish above where we finished last season? No but I'm just trying to establish how good they are. 5th I'd say. But hard to judge because they're not a very english side.
  2. Up against the most supported club in the world. Beautiful!
  3. Two hours and ago I would have been over the moon with drawing any of those 7, and I still would be. We have noone to fear but ourselves.
  4. I guess technically they are, unless time stands still in Portugal. If you'd ever been to Alentejo, you would know that it actually does.

    Moussa Sissoko

If we had Vieira, I'd play him. Question is if he works as hard as Tiote or Anita. I'm not saying it's the best formation or his best position, it's just a tactical possibility. No I don't think he would. "Work hard" sounds bad but Siss and yaya just aren't all that switched on defensively imo. For some games, such as Stoke, definitely. Don't think it's Siss long-term position. I think we agree then, because it is exactly for game like Stoke, that I think that formation would be a good idea. I do think he would hold his own defensively in that role, he does have an amazing engine, as well as the physical attributes.

If he wants the Vieira role, maybe this when HBA is back: Cisse Gouffran Marveaux Ben Arfa Cabaye Sissoko With Sissoko doing all the tiote work, but occasionally taking runs, while Cabaye then sits back and distributes.
  8. That is very funny. I agree with Obertan being not bad though.

I'm sure pardew is looking forward to playing: Cisse Gouffran - Sissoko - Ben Arfa Cabaye - someone as soon as possible.

    Someone from this place?
  11. It's nice to have a super sub
  12. Thats the best 11 we have, but Taylor will play and so will Jonas. I doubt Jonas will play if Marveaux is ready. You havent been intoduced to Mr Pardew then? Mr Pardew who said that Marveaux would have started against Villa, had he not been injured?

  14. And if we lose this one on account of starting an unsettled side, you'll go?
  15. I think starting 3 new players for such an important game is a bit overconfident. I'm looking as much forward to seeing them as anyone, but you have to ease them in. Taylor was playing very well before his injury and knows the defence. He'll start sissoko and maybe Gouffran and that's fine. I also don't see the overwhelming benefit of 4-3-3 without Ben Arfa, as it seems to me our players are more suited to 4-4-2. Nevermind, I trust Pardew to make the right decision.
  16. Krul Debuchy - Taylor - Colo - Santon Sissoko - Perch - Cabaye - Marveaux Shola - Cisse Is what I think we'll see. Wouldn't mind to be honest, and then we have a good bench as well.
  17. Between Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa and Sissoko for me.
  18. So he just made the joke, that he was signing, because we're signing so many it's like everyone is signing for us. That is funny.

    Alan Pardew

    I agree with this guy.
  20. Shola has done alright on the wing actually, maybe that's it. Or they'll be switching positions as they go.
