  1. Why would people cheer for Arsenal today? Draw or Chelsea is where it's at. If Chelsea goes past us it doesn't really matter, we need to focus oon getting by Spurs or Arse, then we'll be in front of Chelses anyway.
  2. Here it is for the lazy: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2012/04/20/cheick-tiote-my-future-is-with-newcastle-united-72703-30799335/ CHEICK TIOTE is still dreaming of the Champions League next season – but hopes he can fulfil that ambition in a Newcastle United shirt. Tiote – who is back for the game with Stoke City tomorrow after hamstring trouble – has been linked with a summer move to Chelsea, while Manchester City are also long-term admirers of the midfield warrior. City’s transfer chief Brian Marwood has been a regular at St James’ Park this term. But Tiote is back and raring to go against the Potters. And shrugging off the latest round of talk he will quit Newcastle this summer for a move to Chelsea, he told the Chronicle: “I’m a Newcastle player – my future is at Newcastle. “I’m playing for Newcastle, and I have to finish this season strongly and help the team get into Europe. “If we do that, it will be good for the club and the fans. “We’re in a great position now.” United go into the final five matches of the season knowing that they can move into the top four for a couple of hours at least if they get a positive result against the Potters. The Magpies are in their best form for six years and can equal a six-game winning streak from 1995/96 if they succeed against Tony Pulis and Co. Tiote added: “We need to finish like this. We have a good opportunity to play in the Champions League – everyone knows we have a possibility to go to Europe.” Tiote is aware that Tottenham and Arsenal have both had their recent worries. But he feels it is a case of more of the same for the Magpies. He said: “We need to stay focused and play as a team. “If we do that, we can finish in the top four. “This is a team. If you don’t play as a team, it’s difficult to achieve anything. “We need to play as a team and stay compact. “If we do that, we can achieve something this season.”

    Peter Løvenkrands

http://tipsbladet.dk/nyhed/premier-league/loevenkrands-kollektivets-styrke An interview in danish, where he talks about the reasons behind Newcastle's present success. It's a part of a series of articles they are doing about Newcastle.
  4. Aye, they should hire Brucey for the first half of the season and let Moyes take the second half. They would be title contenders. You really have no way of knowing that.
  5. I don't really like how all our players are running around with 'money' writen on them.
  6. Loved seeing him fail today. Would still like to see him back once Liverpool are done destroying him.

http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1mz5lLlqg1qctune.jpg You know that's you, right?
  9. Krul - 7 Jonas - 6 Willo - 7 Perch - 8 Simpson - 6 Tiote - 7 Cabaye - 5 Guthrie - 6 Ben Arfa - 8 Cisse - 8 Ba - 7 Shola - 6 Something like that.
  10. Still feels like Tiote needs be sit a little deeper, they have it too easy playing one of their three midfielders or Suarez in the hole between our def and mid. It means Perch have to be aggressive, which he have done amazingly so far, but it could cost a goal or two in the second half.
  11. Poor poor Liverpool, everything is going against them. Poor defending by Skrtel

    Hatem Ben Arfa

As good as he is playing right now, I really feel that he can get even better. With experience, training his position and decision-making he can be an incredible player with the ability he has.
  13. And spiderman as captain! Doesn't seem the obvious candidate, but maybe it'll motivate him even more.
  14. ? I think it looks very good. Looking very much forward to this.
  15. Yes, but we are mathematically safe if we win this and QPR lose.
  16. we're not shocked, we're pissed off. did well? Yeah, did well to win it. I'm quite happy to be honest, this was a match I was expecting to be a real problem, but we had everything under control.
  17. I don't know why people seem so shocked by the performance. I thought we did quite well and could have easily won by a few more goals. Norwich never really put us under pressure and they are a good team, that we are competing with.
  18. I'd have had him in for jonas Id have him for Simpson I'd have him in for Pardew I wouldn't
