If we sign luck for around 12 euros it is almost financed by selling best & ba. Really hoped ba would stay... But as others have mentioned the higher fee for luuk, the it looks like ba is off. If ba leaves and we sign luuk, then we still need to sign a really good striker, or very attacking and goal scoring midfielder...who is not toivonen. Imagine having ba, cisse, arfa, luuk which isn't too much if we wanna compete in all tournaments.

sounds like we are after good players...positive. hopefully we also went in for Clyne. having both him and debuchy isn´t too much and will see us sorted for Rb position for a long time. dont know anita, but if ajax asks 6 mill + i think there is better players out there. I would like us to have a really quality backup for tiote / (cabaye). a DM. we still need a good CB...its quiet on that front so far....still think we will sign one. Taylor back also....he had his best season ever before getting injured....which was very positive.

Ben arfa picked up the mobil as it rang during Blancs speech. Blanc was not happy with this and arfa answered back "why he was subbed when other players played worse than him". not good arfa....not good french team spirit!!!

would he not be better on the RB? he is good at cutting inside from the left....but his crossing with his left foot isnt really a threat. he could also cut in from the right side and then his crossing would become naturally and a threat. am i wrong?

early days yet, no harm is going in low at first yes yes. it was actually a positive post...we are in early and for the right players. was just refering to the story about inter milan offering round 5 mill euro or pound and we a few days later offered less after inters offer was rejected. i have confident in our negotiations.

Yeah it looks pretty weak after Cisse and Ba. I suppose we should be a bit more confident, we are in Europe we finished 5th, it's not as if de Jong and Ba are in the elite list of strikers. Rotation will be needed next season. Given the speculation and clauses around Demba Ba I'd be surprised if we kept him for next season. It could also be a situation where Pardew sees de Jong as more suited to the wide role so is prepared to lose Ba. Then again, who knows Pardew may go back to the 4-42 next season? yeah but look at this (ba stays, best goes) ba cisse 2x ameobi luuk (or some other quality striker) (arfa) that is absolutely perfect!!!

i dont think ba will leave..only for a huge offer he cant refuse...like anybody else. We all know it takes a quality strike-force to compete in the PL, the cups + europe. we also have the ACoN again so therefore luuk would be good....also if he can play on the left side in a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 if you like. with him or another quality striker on board i dont think ba or cisse is considering leaving coz a new striker is coming...there will be plenty for playing time for all. Also pardew and ashley knows that this season is very very important in order to catch up with the top or stay very close. We have a AWESOME team who wants to succeed with this side because of the team spirit etc. But this is only for next season....if we fook up and have a bad season.....then many will leave and we will have to start over again....therefore is this window important coz many players are interested in coming. i dont think we need to spend that much. 2 good/quality defenders, 1 good midfielder, 1 good striker we have young squad players like vuckic, sammy, shane, abeid, amalfitiano who will be ready to step up in some of the cup and european games. we are building a squad and therefore we wont see any of our best players leave this summer unless its a really good offer...which is fair.

Dont want to be a downer .. but the year we got relegated I genuinely thought we were going to finish top 4 at the start of the season. Keegan was our manager, we were making moves for Pablo Aimar for some creative spark, talk of Schweinsteiger coming. Coloccini came in. We had a strike force of Martins, Owen and Viduka. One of the best right backs in the league, in Beye. You just never know what can happen in football. Top 4 :lol: top 4 will be difficult...coz we also have europe. im sure our best starting 11 will be the best were seen for many many years....its the quality and size of the whole squad that will be the key to good results both in europe and in the PL. will be difficult

it is soooo boring reading about peoples paranoia on here. of coz all players have a price like the players at man u , city, barca etc have. nothing new. If a big/acceptable offer comes in and the player wants to leave...what can you do? keep him and let him unsettle half the squad? Nothing have shown us that ashley/pardew are willing to let our best players leave cheaply. They are trying to build a team which takes 2-4 years...after that them you have to rebuild in several postions probably. i have full confident that our best players will be here next season. After that it is difficult to say....maybe things can influence that....playing time, league position etc. this season we will see the strongest Nufc team since the late 90´s. GET EXCITED!!!

That's my nightmare scenario right there.. Portugal to draw or win and us to beat the Germans and the group is wide open again. lol. this is hell...anything can happen in this group. since 2008 (i think) we played portugal 5 times. won 3, drawn 1, lost 1. we definitely have a chance here.... fingers crossed
