In the summer we’ll see a few move on: Wilson, Lascelles, Dubravka, Almiron, Targett etc We’ll probably look to bring in four players: GK, CB, RW, backup striker. Given we’ll have not spent any decent money for knocking on two years then you’d hope they could be of decent value and quality.

The game before that which he played at CB was Chelsea in the cup and everyone was raving about him and suggesting he replaced Burn. In reality he’s a bog standard PL CB who had one shitter for us. Some people are going on as if we’re chucking in Cacapa.

Got an injury that requires surgery, so his loan has been terminated and he’s come back to NUFC. Probably out for the season so I guess that will be that from our point of view.

I think we’ll see Willock replace Joelinton for this one and then in the semi Joelinton come back in and Longstaff replacing Bruno. Tino may replace Trippier and we’ll see Kelly come in for Schar.

If we get stuck into them early like we did at Old Trafford then we’ve got a good chance. All depends on which NUFC turns up.

I’d go for 1 year deals for Krafth and Lascelles. 2 year deal for Fab. The rest can go, although I imagine Gillespie and Ruddy will also get 1 year deals again.

If we do get CL - and it’s a big “if” as Man City will improve and Forest seem to be pulling a lite version of Leicester 15/16, then this has to be the year we cement ourselves as a proper regular top 5 club. I would expect a transformational summer for the squad.

With Bruno not playing the semi I’d be tempted to give Joelinton a rest. We’ll set up to hit Spurs on the transition with their high line so it’s an ideal game to play Willock in.
