Yeah I’d agree with this, with a RW also on the cards for next summer. January may see an opportunistic buy if one became available.

We did that last year by accruing their costs as onerous contracts. If we manage to get them off the books before the end of their contract then the accrual will reverse so we’d see an in year benefit to net off the accrual.

I’ve been to pretty much every game since the takeover too. I imagined that there would have been some look at prior purchase history when it came to this season. Frustrating that come the Liverpool game I’ve got just as much of a chance of a ticket as a scouser who wakes up on the morning of the ballot and decides it’s worth a £37 punt for a 1 in 3 chance of a ticket.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

Anyone know if the club will have the rights to stream the u21s champions league games? -
Tonali, Barnes, Livramento and a RCB represents a very good window. If we got anyone else in, either a LB or a RW, it represents a fucking fantastic window.

The ones used for the World Cup and euros are decent. There are four “categories” of tickets based on which stand they’re in etc. you then pick which category you want to be in and you can choose to accept one category up or down too. it’s not difficult

2-0 Brentford, and the ball Just went straight through the net

Aye, tbh they give discount for everything. The lad in front of me the other day got student discount because the lad behind the till just went “you look like a student”

Guessing he’s on about the defence

Sheffield Wednesday selling 10 year season tickets for £5,500, where the 10 year countdown doesn’t start until they’re promoted to the PL (so if they got promoted in 8 years you’d have a ticket for 18 years etc) The catch is that you can’t pay by card, so have to go to the ground with cash

People whinging about the price as if we have a bunch of amateurs involved in running the club We’ve got some of the best in the business now, there’s no way we’ll have got a bad deal.

Yeah absolutely.

Think his emergence in pre season probably means looking for a CM on loan is probably a non starter now. Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Longstaff, Willock, Miley and Anderson is a pretty decent bunch to choose from in midfield.

Still makes me chuckle that if you zoom in on his profile pic he’s talking to his lock screen

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

Went to the basketball at MSG and thought it was shit. Much preferred going to see the New Jersey Devils for some ice hockey. -
We’ve probably accrued his remaining wages as an onerous contract in last years accounts so there would be a small in-year benefit there by shifting him early too. I’m of the opinion that I’d shift all the deadwood for free just to get them off the books. A fee of any sorts really is a bonus.

There’s not a set amount. But there’s no guarantee of tickets as you go into a ballot.
