I can accept with the Fabregas thing. He's very good. God knows where the easily bit comes from. The easily bit comes from him being the best by an obvious margin. In that case you're wrong then. Surely if you can accept that Fabregas is the best, you have to see there is a noticeable margin? Otherwise you could not have agreed with me. I didnt accept that he was the best. I accepted that others might see it that way. Personally I think he is the best performing this season. Not the best in the league. Its daft to say he is 'easily' the best tbh. He isn't. If he was outrageously talented then I might agree. He isn't though. Nonetheless, he is very talented. I have no doubt that he could become the best. At the moment he has a long long way to go before he gets that monikor, never mind easily. If that is your opinion than fine. However, you can't tell me i'm "wrong" purely because you disagree with my comments.

For me at the moment it is Drogba followed closely by Van Persie.

Saw Nigel Pearson in Osbornes ce soir, wearing quite possibly the ugliest coat i've ever seen.

Exactly what i wanted to say, he's very highly rated and i don't expect Rennes to sell him for anything less than 5m. Would be more than that, Pompey were in for him in the summer but were put off by an asking price of £7Million. I wouldn't blink at £10m. My French mate tells me he is destined to become a fixture in the full French side. He's on Wengers list. Already been in the squad a few times, hasn't he?

Most underrated player at the club IMO.

Loads of action on the tube like. Scored a lovely bicycle kick from a corner.

Sunday Sun - Newcastle trail French striker Jimmy Briand Oct 28 2007 by Neil Farrington, Sunday Sun NEWCASTLE are on the trail of young French striker Jimmy Briand. United scouts have watched the 22-year-old Rennes starlet on several occasions this season, with a view to a possible move. Magpies boss Sam Allardyce tracked Briand, who combines physical presence with impressive pace, while in charge at Bolton last season. And Newcastle could launch a bid for the France international in January, regardless of the future of Michael Owen or Obafemi Martins. With Martins on African Nations Cup duty in the New Year, Mark Viduka’s fitness a concern and Shola Ameobi struggling to impress Allardyce, Briand is potentially a worthwhile addition to United’s striking options. He recently signed a new contract with Rennes and leads their scoring charts this season with three goals, having emerged in 2006/07 in partnership with the now Portsmouth striker, John Utaka.

I recall a particular fixture at the Stadium of Light where we were alright... We weren't, like. We were abysmal and got lucky.
-
So how come we let 3 in away from home? Aye we only have 1 clean sheet this season and in that game we didnt score. I must have imagined up the Wigan game then.

Fully agreed as well. Even though we're playing 4-4-2 now, I still believe it's Sam's long term plan to change us to 4-5-1. Eider fits the bill perfectly.

Thought the defense was poor today, Enrique especially. And re-living Chopras goal in the 1-4 wasn't in the script either.
-
To be fair, Martins was having a shitter. Got a text from a mate at the ground who said he had a niggle as well. Have to say, i'm a massive Allardyce fan, but he got it totally wrong today.

Emre, Butt, Barton and Geremi all start

£2 on Toon to win 2-1 with Cacapa first scorer. 125/1
