  1. We got that response from some German lads during the summer whilst at the Leverkusen match. On a side note, they didn't even have a clue who 5under1and were.
  2. Fuck it, I'd pay £20 for something that is classed as a unique t-shirt like. I'm sure others would. Its like what? 6/7 pints?
  3. I know, the real ones look even better! Frustrating I can't find a way to make them financial viable but unless I print on white shirts then I can't Could you just not up the price? You said you were going to charge £10 or so didn't you? I'm sure people would pay £14 for one...
  4. Lush. As for June, could you not hoy in a best 11 of all time team photo or something?
  5. Spurs fans whinging about them not being exciting or having a convincing win equates to us getting humped. 3-0.
  6. Your season ticket DD can be cancelled whenever...however if it cancelled before that seasons 'term' is paid for, you'll be unable to attend matches from when the DD is cancelled. You can wait until February iirc and your season will be paid for, then cancel the DD, which will enable you to go to games for the full season, and then be ST free after May. If that makes any sense. It does, thanks. And there are no charges to be incurred from cancelling the DD? Just something I've wondered, as I assumed the 10 year deal was more binding than that. Not my knowledge mate, looked into it when they appointed JFK but just couldn't bring myself to send the email. Looked at the T's & C's before I signed the deal and noticed you can cancel at anytime as that's what I was afraid of too.

  8. Have a chance of being in Madrid when Atletico play Real. Wonder what chances I'd have of getting a few tickets....
  9. It was pissing with snow. I even went and bought an orange ball.

  11. You scored 38 out of a possible 60 Close but no cigar – YOU'RE A BIT OF A HIPSTER! You love a bit of tactical talk and wear your 1991-92 St Pauli away shirt with pride, but deep down there's part of you who prefers a cavorting mess of a 4-3 to a well-disciplined 0-0. You heathen, you. Still, you're well on your way to zen-like hipsterdom :|
  12. I think Ribery or Robben will get it personally...
  13. The coach lane campus where we played last year isn't far from Four Lane Ends metro to be honest, about a 10 min walk. Then again, I'm sure someone could give you a lift?
  14. Whilst in Germany for my mates stag, on the way back from a Leverkusen game, some local lads didn't even know who or what 5under1and was. I had to explain that they were our rivals. Their reply in a German accent "They must be shit, I've never heard of them." No bullshit.
  15. Probably. If this is true, I did warn you all about Martin Hardy mind. Little wanksplat that he is.
  16. Depends where you live in the city I would have thought. Real is the easiest to get too though as it has it's own Metro stop & is in a nice part of town. If it were me living in a new multi-team city I'd have go to all the teams and see which atmosphere I liked best. That seems the most reasonable way to handle the situation. It just seems like, 95% of the time, no matter where this person might live in Madrid, they're gonna choose Real. Something like over 70% of Spain are either supposedly Barcelona or Real fans. Its not unusual for people to have a 'local' team and support one of the big two also. Busy reading that Sid Lowe book (Fear And Loathing In La Liga) and he goes quite in-depth into the reasons why too. Interesting stuff. But aye, people moving to a big city and going to support the 'easiest' team is my issue too. You would've thought he'd at least try a few teams first?
  17. Not sure. We stayed in Dusseldorf and went to a Bayer Leverkusen game. Only took us about 40 minutes train and walk to the stadium...if that. Dortmund was about the same iirc. It's difficult to get lost given how good their ticket offices/stations are to be honest.
  18. If you stay in Dusseldorf the commute to a Dortmund game will be free on the match day with a valid ticket.
  19. Its always a bit strange meeting people for the first time like, but I knew a few of the lads who'd turned up...all of them were on the other team mind (Dinho/Rocker/Kev/Neesey). Thoroughly enjoyed it last year even if it was baltic when we first turned up. The warm up jogging definitely helped mind...
  20. Not being one to disbelieve an article, but isn't this the same bloke who claimed Colo had walked out on Newcastle never to return last May time? Not saying Colo isn't out until Crimbo mind...he may well be, just choosing to wait from a few sources first instead of this proven (iirc) shit stirrer.
  21. April 2005 takes some beating too.
