I have never seen so many supporters just collapse in laughter like they did then. Might not have been the same reaction in a competitive game. TBH I thought the fans were sending him up. Hope it doesn't give the club or Ameobi any ideas about the fans being desperate for him to stay. Aye...I thought we were taking the piss? Just got back...hillarious game. Football was poor but as expected. Guthrie looked decent, Duff was the same as usual, just managed to bag some goals, Smith was sh1te as normal. Rest of the team were ok. The songs where brilliant from start to finish, the Hartlepool fans must think we are off our tits. The game got so lethargic at the end that everyone was singing songs about seagulls!!!

The lads asked me why I was going to this last night....i merely replied, "I need to watch us play as I feel some part of me is missing every week we dont!" Nothing to do with the 8 pints I'd had mind....

Meetin the lads in the 'berry for one then off down to Monkey Hanging Country. Hope the pubs are alreet down there.

Personally I like L7...Its not as shit as people make out!!! Plus I quite like an atmosphere, which in all truth (without sounding cyncical or criticising other sections of the ground) is lacking elsewhere apart from the big matches.

Plus I wont get some grouchy old fart in front of me whinging when I'm going mental! Yourself? still in the gallowgate mate, moved a few rows forward to get two seats together with me pa. i'll come and meet you lot for a drink before the match some time, definitely gonna go on as many away trips as i can afford this year too. Aye, me and the lads are gonna try for the newly promoted teams, smogs, makems and maybes a London trip - ABillySwift is on the cards. As for pre-match pintage, deffo matey. We frequented City (shitty) vaults last season which was decent pre-match atmosphere Matty you'll do well to get yourself a smogs ticket like, usually need 15+ apps and we've apparently got a reduced amount this year. Hull will probably be 10+ away games due to small ground and the fact we haven't been before. Mackems you'll probably need 40+ away games under your belt. I have ways and means my friend! Although my ticket might now have the required amount, it doesnt mean I cant get my hands on one from somewhere else

I'm just wondering how many times Oba has to make it clear that he loves it here... Good on the lad, he seems quite level headed and knows what it means to play here and be a fan favourite. Cant wait to see him next season (hopefully, unless the management sell him).

Just got a call from the BO - we have got all of our requested seats within the singing section itself. I have to admit, I was pleased, if a little shocked at actually getting our seats and actually being called back... Utter shock compared to previous seasons.

Everyone finding it hard to find there new seats!!!

Hope I get my bloody phone call soon like!!! they were true to their word with me mate. are you moving? i was down as a mover and she said if i hadnt heard from them by monday to give them a ring Trying to move...me and 2 of the lads put in our apps together stating that we wanted to be sat together in the 'singing section'. On the covering note I also stated that if I didnt get the seat next to my mates I'd want to be moved. (as currently where I'm sat in L7 I'd be paying the same price for a single seat as I would in gallowgate/leazes - to hell with that). Last time we phoned they told us 7 to 10 days and you will be rang. This was last Thursday. We are on the 10th day today.

Looked decent for Bolton last season (given the fact they are utterly aweful to watch too) from what I saw of him. Another decent addition to the squad, only young and will add cover. Brilliant that this was done under the radar too. I think they must have finally found the mole in the club As for all the negativity...christ on a bike...we sign someone who has potential and has prem experience and we get moaning or we dont sign anyone and we get moaning again. Cant win.

These sound like MiNT people you used to work with if you ask me Fantastic people matey, but its kinda of a tradition in our department, everyone chips in and people were appreciated. Saw it in person yesterday, its very nice. Very purple under non natural light, more a dark blueish purple in natural light.
