He seems a great lad, attitude looks good and he's clearly popular with the other players given the celebrations for his goal. Hopefully he can get some more minutes and pop up with a few goals between now and the end of the season
-
Yep, I got a medium from Fenwick's on Friday afternoon and they had quite a few medium and large still available
-
The fucker is 24 but he plays with the energy of an 18 year old, the composure and positional sense of a 35 year old who's won it all, and the stamina of a marathon runner. And he's technically excellent too. He's fucking incredible

Didn't realise there was a ticket forum, thanks
-
It's a sellout?! Jesus, thought this would be the one game I could take my son to (for his first game). Thanks for the reply
-
I might be being very thick here, but I want to get tickets for this for me and my son, yet I can't find tickets details for this match anywhere on the club website. Can anyone help me out (I'm not a member, but presuming these will go to/are already on general sale?)

Either that or there's been an overreaction on the betting markets to the rumours. Hopefully it's the former

The price for a Newcastle win on the Betfair Exchange has moved from 2.30 at the start of the day to 1.89 currently. We weren't much shorter on Betfair to beat Ipswich away (think we were around 1.80), which seems a bit mad
-
Is this being shown on any TV channels or is it just on the club website?
-
Great, thanks. I thought that might be the case, it often is with "Pro" versions of shirts
-
Does anyone know what the fit is like on the "Pro" version of the kits sold on the club website? Ie are they really tight and I need to order a size up, or are they just normal sizes? The size guide on the webpage is just a generic castore one and I don't trust it

He's one of my best mates and actually a Sunderland fan

Leeds United Vs Newcastle United 16/12/20 - Live on Amazon Prime KO: 6pm

Shelvey rested is an interesting one. On the one hand, he completely lacks the physicality and athleticism required to compete with Leeds, but on the other hand he's probably the one player who might be able to pick a pass to play through their press. -
He would always smile at the reception he got from the corner of the ground when he jogged over to take them too. The little cutey.
-
We did for a bit. I remember him shooting from a couple, which is probably why he was then taken off them.
-
I bet Hatem could do at least 4.
-
Probably Storey, he writes for F365 and has family who are from the North East and are Newcastle supporters. He usually writes very well on Newcastle matters.
-
Lee Ryder said he's one of the best he's seen for NUFC at that level so......... no.

All stats based scouting like a moneyball of football. Even before this summer they'd made big profits on lots of other players in the last few years Yeah their owner is Matthew Benham. He was a professional gambler, owns a company who were basically a big team of data analysts and they made fortunes using their own ratings system for football teams. He then became majority shareholder of Midtjylland in Denmark - they used a lot of data analysis for recruitment / set pieces etc and won the league twice. Now doing the same at Brentford and seems to be working pretty well there too.

the tab is half his size. Aye you're right, he's a bit of a prick, just annoying to see how good he could have been. Got in a fight a club too didn't he. feel like that's the exact story he's telling the blonde bird. "Oi, he came at me luv, got a torche?" A friend lived near Watford when Wilshere was at Arsenal and he fairly often saw Wilshere out on the town, absolutely off his tits.
-
Luckily Wilson has a great injury record and so do we under Bruce.

https://www.themag.co.uk/2020/10/jonjo-shelvey-credits-steve-bruce-for-win-says-under-rafa-would-have-just-been-lumping-the-ball-newcastle-united/ So, 'lumping it' under Rafa, but I guess Bruceball is something akin to Barcelona, eh?? That is an absolutely astonishing quote. He can fuck right off. He was finished under Rafa ie a proper manager. Him and Bruce deserve each other, just a shame it's at our club.

Charnley - "how much for your player please? £30m? Would you take £3m? Ok bye." Asking about the price ffs

Great signing for Villa that, would have loved Barkley here. Provides good attacking threat from central midfield whilst having a good engine to get about the pitch. If Watkins can make the step up they've got the makings of a decent side there now.

What's Semedo like? Got a Wolves supporting friend who is interested to know. He's been quite inconsistent, tbf, but has had great flashes. Maybe with more stability he could flourish. By all means he's a good player. Attacking-minded, but not as gung-ho as people thought at first, he has decent defensive positioning. Again, he's been very unconsistent but the fact he never nailed down the starting berth hasn't helped.
