Would be interesting to see how many touches of the ball he's had in his last 4 or 5 sub appearances. He comes on and disappears

Makes me think of Joey Barton. Not cool

Which podcast is this please? Would like to give it a listen

Cunha could easily start as the right winger, with licence to drift infield to create, with Livramento overlapping. It's essentially what we did with Miggy on the right as he would always cut inside and it created space for Trippier to overlap. The only difference really is that Cunha is 10 times better than Miggy. He hasn't played much there for Wolves but he seems the sort of player who has the attributes to play anywhere along the front line. A quick look at his highlights from this season shows him scoring and creating plenty from an inside right position

I wasn't aware there were 5 different attacking midfield positions and also 5 different forward positions, how the hell are they defined?!
-
Would be fantastic if he was an option off the bench for Sunday
-
One of his goals against Reading was a cracking strike: https://x.com/MagpieMediaX/status/1909530007422087539?s=19

So Villa are still going to breach PSR rules despite selling Diaby and Duran to Saudi Arabia for a combined £120m, and also doing a couple of dodgy Anderson/Vlachodimos style swaps last summer. PSR is an absolute joke, if it weren't for Howe and Emery being fantastic coaches we'd be nowhere near challenging the top 4/5, it's ridiculous

Strange game, I don't think we played very well at all in general but ended up being a really comfortable win because Leicester are bloody awful. We essentially coasted for 60 minutes though which hopefully will mean we're nice and fresh for Sunday
-
But getting a youth player around the squad and experience of a match day is more beneficial than Ruddy coming along for a laugh
-
I really don't get the point of 2 keepers on the bench. Just put a youth player on there for some experience
-
Would be pretty disappointed to sign Ramsdale, I've never rated him. Pope is much better at the whole keeping the ball out of the net aspect of goalkeeping
-
Yeah that's my one question mark over him, does he do the off the ball work well enough to fit into an Eddie Howe team? I haven't seen much of him apart from games against us, but he got caught a couple of times when he didn't track Tino last night
-
Didn't he almost exclusively play right wing for Everton? My only memories of seeing him play there were always on the right, so it's a bit weird that he seemingly doesn't like playing there any more. He's certainly played more often on the right in his career than Barnes has, and at the moment Barnes deserves to keep his place on the left

My first game at SJP, and quite possibly the reason why Beardsley is my favourite ever Newcastle player

How does Adam P even make enough money to do this full time. From looking at YouTube, he's got 50k subscribers and most of his videos have somewhere between 5k and 20k views, that surely isn't bringing in much money per month?

Scum. Subhuman scum

Was the same in the second leg against Arsenal for the Isak offside goal. I couldn't even hear the announcement in the stadium, was only when I spoke to someone the next day who mentioned the announcement that I had any idea it had actually happened
-
Had a feeling he would be a key player today given his experience of big games and playing at Wembley, and what a performance he put in. Positive from the first whistle in everything he did and some vital defensive contributions. If he moves on in the summer he should be remembered as one of the most important signings in our recent history
-
Yeah fair play to Slot. His interview after the game was top class, gave us loads of credit and essentially admitted that Howe's tactics won it for us. Hope he doesn't turn into a cunt like Klopp did
-
Incredible from him today. Set the tone for the whole performance with a couple of confident driving runs in the first few minutes
-
Wow, what a day. As others have said, after the first 10 minutes I just sensed we would do it, we were on it and Liverpool were off it. The Burn goal just before half time was huge, and I've never celebrated a goal like that in my life. Think I scared my 2 young kids who were in the room with the amount of noise I made, hopefully they'll remember it anyway! Never thought I'd see us win something. Feels a bit weird, not as jubilant as I thought I would be, just complete satisfaction that we've achieved something mixed with pride and happiness. What a bunch of players and what a manager, absolutely over the moon for all of them
-
Yep, he was basically playing on one leg for all of extra time. We tried to hide him by just putting him in at right sided centre back between Schär and Murphy and it ended up costing us with him not getting out for the goal. Hard to blame him too much for it though, he was done by that point
-
Is there extra time in this or would it be straight to pelanties? Would miss my last train home if there's extra time
-
I think he's quick over the first 5-10 yards, he often bursts away from players with the ball. It's just the longer distance recovery runs where he looks pretty slow
