  1. One thing I do notice is that we haven't named a back-up keeper. Wonder who will put the gloves on should the need arise.
  2. Squad: Harper, Carr, N'Zogbia, Rozehnal, Taylor, Solano, Milner, Geremi, Butt, Smith, Viduka, Martins, Ameobi, Luque, Ramage, Edgar, Huntingdon, Pattison, Cacapa, Enrique.
  3. They'll both play. You heard it here first
  4. I'M SO EXCITED. To make things even better, Foxtel (our equivalent of Sky) have announced a new thing, that means we get the choice out of 4 games kicking off at 15:00 BST. Means we'll be on, whereas originally West Ham vs. City was going to be the onyl game on.
  5. Don't believe he would've rejected Liverpool tbh. If he did, bloody good work though.
  6. Don't think we should get rid of Ramage or Babayaro just yet. Pattison can get lost, useless that bloke.
  7. So for people like me who can't watch or listen to the game, how have Smith and Viduka fared?
  8. I'm watching ESPN in Australia and all we have is the shitty yank commentators and the shitty video quality.
  9. He's captained a few pre-season games, but is it permanent?
  10. I'm not sure if Cacapa will play tbh. Hopefully he does though
  11. Can't believe the season is only a week away, how exciting
  12. He's an absolute gun. Would love to have him.
  13. Well Sam did say he expected them to both (Owen and Ameobi) to play against Celtic and when it was first done, said it was only a minor injury. Oh and yeah, I didnt notice that Alan Oliver wrote it, so it will be a pile of shite probably. Fair enough... I'm depressed about his injuries as well, I just don't blame him for them like some people seem to. Yeah what I wrote probably came across wrongly. I don't blame him for the injuries, but its a worry that they keep happening and he can't overcome them. No doubt, when playing he's very good, but if someone came in with a decent enough bid, we may be well off to accept it. Don't go getting all reasonable in the post before I take the piss out of your initial stance! Lets just pretend that the post where u took the piss out of me was before my reasonable post ok?
  14. Aye, I thought the same when I read "Chris Coleman, Real Sociedad boss." It just doesn't sound right does it?

  17. http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcastleunited/chroniclesport/tm_headline=owen-a-worry-for-big-kick-off%26method=full%26objectid=19553065%26siteid=50081-name_page.html The more and more I read about Owen, the more I want him gone. Can't even overcome a thigh strain in three weeks.
  18. He's pretty good on FM like Nah, he's a DLC which gets a tick from me. He's also experienced - There is another tick. He has big league, big team experience - Theres another tick.
  19. Because a players value goes up if they perform well over a season? plenty had him under-valued to the tune of 50% when he arrived, swings and roundabouts tbh £3m in a year? doubt it. In fact, who has ever left NUFC for a profit, let alone £3m in a year? Yep, you're right. Lets sell arguably our best striker hey?
