  1. Just what we need tbh. However, according to him every single club wants to buy him.
  2. So Andy Carroll is another young player we're going to expect too much of?
  3. And play Carr at right back? Or buy a right back?
  4. Well what did we seriously expect FFS. Of course he's not only going to manage Newcastle.
  5. Aside from the fact you think we'll only lose matches against the "top 4" sides (surely Everton away is harder than Liverpool away?!), how can you predict us to lose AT HOME to Man Utd under KEEGAN?! that game has 5-0 written all over it, look at the last time Ferguson came to St James' to face Keegan. The form guide speaks for itself. As I said, it's a best case scenario. Of course we're not going to win every game I've said we'll win. Some of the draws might also be losses or wins. Best. Case. Scenario.
  6. 50 points As a best case scenario IMO. Somewhere between 40 and 50 is my tip.
  7. Out of our current centre halves, what is your preferred pairing? Mine is Faye and Cacapa.

    Riise

Yeah, he's a good player if you like shots from 50 yards going way over the crossbar.
  9. Try The Back Page. Should have them there.
  10. Well, what's he meant to say? "Oh yes, we'll lose"
  11. Oba, because Owen is crap.
  12. That's why we need a winger to replace James Milner. He just doesn't cut it IMO.
  13. Well I think KK has a lot more to work with than he did last time he came. We have some really talented football players, who at their best are among the best in the English Premier League. We also have some players who sadly just don't cut it for one reason or another. We're lacking those one or two quality players that can provide the difference against sides that are hard to break down, ala Bolton yesterday. Liverpool and Chelsea struggle to break teams down, but they have the likes of Gerrard, Torres, Lampard, Drogba etc that can pull something out of nothing and change the complexion of matches. We don't have anyone like that at the moment. The first key must be a central midfielder, and a good one, not Nolan or Smith or anyone like that. Then I think we need a winger that is better than James Milner. When he's on, he's a good little player James Milner, but he has far too many off days. The other areas we just have to buy depth, as we're sorely lacking at the minute.

    Duff

He's been one of our best players this season when he's played tbh.
  15. The commentator (not Steve Banyard, the other one) was quick to sink the boot in at anything that went wrong too. He's had the team for 72 hours, I'm not exactly sure what they were expecting. We didn't play badly, just struggled to break down a very resilient Bolton side. Even the Big 4 struggle to break down teams that put men behind the ball, the only difference being they have the quality players that can pull a goal from no-where and change the complexion of the match. We don't have that. Arsenal will be a more interesting game as far as attacking goes, as unlike Bolton they will come out at us and play. A 0-0 draw under KK, who'd have thought it?
  16. Let's not forget it's an understrengthed side as well. 6 or 7 first team players out. Players playing out of position, etc.
  17. Exactly. Who's their manager? Gary Megson or Sam Allardyce? Can hardly tell the difference. Having said that, I can see them coming away with a 1-0 win, which in their situation is a priceless result.
  18. Aye, credit where it's due Nigel Pearson. I'm also a bit pissed off that it's one of the few games I haven't been able to watch this year, and its the performance of the season from what I'm gathering. And as I speak the BBC spectacular gets a goal. Elano.
  19. Good half of football there lads. Another second half the same thanks.
