  1. Would be just like when Souness was "backed" with £50m. This summer could set us back years.
  2. That price is ridiculous. Even with the English premium, I just don't get why anyone would pay that much.
  3. So sad Just like when Bellamy went up against Souness. Souness won. This time. Pardew will win It feels exactly the same. The manager is on borrowed time but unfortunately the player will probably be gone before the manager finally gets the inevitable boot
  4. Title change? Hope? Always feels more deflating when it is inevitably proven to be false.
  5. Would not surprise me in the slightest if this cunt put Ben Arfa on at exactly 60mins to try and prevent people leaving. I guess he could just claim they left cus of Ben Arfa and blame him for everything again
  6. Thing is though, I start to build a bit of hope but then I see the fucking smug cunt smiling and joking on tv like he knows he's under zero pressure whatsoever. It's crushing
  7. "no other manager could have got Newcastle higher" - Neville What unbelievable bullshit
  8. Was all going well that analysis until the end. "no way they coached this" well what the fuck do they coach? Why is the manager never held responsible when it comes to Pardew? Also this fucking bulletin about 9th being about right position for us. What the fuck? Oh ok so that makes what's happened since January.
  9. How is gosling still on the pitch. Given it away every single time he gets near the ball, which isn't often as he's slow as fuck. So painful to watch
  10. Every time I see gosling live, I'm amazed he's a premier league footballer. Starts ahead of Ben Arfa
  11. Yep, i remember it being clearly said in the statement last season that the minimum was a top 10 finish. Just to repeat what others have said as well, the way he keeps going on about this "5 game run" as if it's just a blip is unbelievable. We've been on a horrific run since January with about 9 defeats and 3 wins (all with late goals in 1:0 victories) The team has been dreadful for a long time.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

and yet he's probably our cleverest player, in terms of vision on the football pitch, now that Cabaye has gone.
  13. Find it amazing how the whole club; management, coaching staff and players. Totally switched off once they were comfortably in 8th and knew they were safe from relegation. I mean we saw a similar thing with Swansea last season but at least they had fucking won a trophy before slacking off. We've achieved nothing and the club are acting like it's some epic achievement. What Pardew has done is taken the expectation that we finish in the top 10 and has aimed for the absolute bare minimum. He's managed along the way to give us plenty of batterings, not least 3 defeats in a row off Sunderland. But what does that matter though as it looks like we'll limp over the line and finish 10th. Wooooo!

    Hatem Ben Arfa

definitely feels like Pardew thought all his propaganda against Ben Arfa would work and deflect criticism from himself. Seems it back fired with people siding with Ben Arfa instead If these latest reports are to be believed he has now realised this and is going to try and suck up to the fans by playing him

    Hatem Ben Arfa

As far as I'm concerned Ben Arfa did his fair share of tracking back against Southampton. He didn't get much chance to attack but that's because as a team we were dominated and barely strung a few passes together. Of all the players Ben Arfa was actually the calmest on the ball and helped us get it down and relax at times. He was no worse than anyone else on the pitch, unfortunately he had MYM behind him who was just having a nightmare. Gouffran for example was having a very poor game and I can only imagine the stick Ben Arfa would have got if he'd played that hospital ball across field that Gouffran did. But no ofcourse Ben Arfa is hooked and probably never to be seen again in Newcastle colours. Can only hope Pardew is gone before the end of the season but that's quite frankly just not going to happen.
  16. I find it quite incredible that the team has effectively given up after January. It's just being allowed to happen, like getting to 40 points and 8th half way through the season was some sort of epic achievement and so every one could now coast until the end of the season. They forget the fans are paying an extortionate amount of money to watch the rest of the games this season. Pardew constantly talking about next season and needing new players, despite the fact this is the same group that did well in the first half of the season, bar Cabaye. Fraud of a manager who was talking about 8th being top of the league for us back in January so who can blame the players for losing their motivation. We'll be lucky if we finish above Stoke now.
  17. How in the holy fuck u can blame Ben Arfa for yesterday is beyond belief. Sure u can say he didn't create anything but that's because we barely touched the ball as a team. Southampton closed down relentlessly and as usual we panicked. Mbiwa had a shocker and it's not Ben Arfa's fault Mapou couldn't hold a defensive line with the rest. The whole team should get told off for that performance, not picking on one player who did no worse than others just so it can suit your agenda
  18. This fucker adores Southampton like. Someone better remind the twat they sacked him back in league 1. I love how he obviously panicked and had to throw in the lline "I'm not saying all geordies are thick" The irony of this idiot who can barely speak English, telling our youngsters we need to "put more intelligence into them"like an injection or something
  19. this picture from the skysports article amused me for some reason http://e2.365dm.com/13/12/16-9/20/MapouYangaMbiwa_3054251.jpg?20131219120349
