  1. That article about Ashley making funds available but kinnear messing up etc is a load of bollocks. Ashley was the one who employed the bloke and anyone with a ounce of knowledge about football could have told him Kinnear was an absolute joke and totally un-equipped to perform in that role. He'll have seen people not renewing tickets and figured Kinnear leaving now would buy back some fans
  2. The increased interest in Rangers as well.
  3. Seeing as eighth is top of the league for us apparently so should be "battle for eighth" as mentioned. Yes Southampton will most likely be above us and possibly a few points clear over the next few games.
  4. They don't need to replace Kinnear now. They don't want to spend any money and they sold the guy they've been desperate to for the past year.
  5. Carroll gets the Remy treatment Once again feigning injury wins.
  6. Last year Hazard was incredibly inconsistent. I couldn't believe how much they paid for him considering he was no where near the finished article. However now, with Mourinho managing him I can see it. He's got all the speed and technical skills, while also being one of those players where you can see he can still become even better if he progresses like he should over the next few years.
  7. Or Hazard will know Debuchy's lack of pace and burn past him every time
  8. Seeing Debuchy getting destroyed for pace by Borini everytime, it's scary to think he's up against Hazard next. Same with Santon against Willian. They should probably follow the tactics of West Ham and play as deep as possible. Our entire back 4 would get annihilated if Chelsea hit us on the counter attack.
  9. If it was someone new, who we didn't know and didn't already hate, then I'd probably vote for that option. However, whoever it is, we'll all end up hating them anyway. Ashley quite clearly doesn't want to spend money and Kinnear served his purpose perfectly for him.
  10. If Man United hadn't been the mess they are this season, and weren't being beat at home by the likes of West Brom as well then yes ofcourse the win at Old Trafford would always rank higher than the derby.

    José Mourinho

It was probably the equivalent of us playing Colo in midfield.
  12. Does seem like a fair few. I live in the midlands so don't have one, but for all of you that have cancelled. Does that mean you cannot use it to attend anymore games this season or does it mean it just doesn't renew for next? What about those locked into the 10 year thing?
  13. I agree if there was ever a time for Kinnear to take over it would be now. We have no realistic risk of going down so if he took over it would unite the fans in protest against him. Even the people that still support Pardew would surely be raging at Kinnear taking over. The media would pick up on it like they did last time and as said above, it would create a "shitstorm" that would cause something to happen. What is more likely to happen is, we have a shit rest of the season under Pardew. We have a shit summer transfer window. We start next season horrifically and Pardew eventually gets sacked. All the stuff I just mentioned happens, except this time we're already in the shit in terms of league position. Then we get relegated.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Still has a cracking turn of pace. He is the least of our problems at the moment.
  15. I am starting to wonder if he's beginning to plot his exit strategy? He's been tight for ages but the way it is now I wonder if he's getting ready to sell up and focus all his attention on Rangers?
  16. That's the first time in ages I've seen a reporter ask anywhere near the questions we want asking. Fair play whoever they were but they most likely will be banned now. That reaction to the question on permanent signings is very dodgy. I have a feeling(hope) Ashley's preparing for a shift and will eventually leave and takeover Rangers.
  17. I'm 24 and he's 67. Touch wood I should have plenty of years in the future to support this club, Kinnear-free.

I mean every game I see him, feels like an eternity
  19. With you on that. It's just gone on too long. Even this season, where lots have said we're having a good season, there has only been a few games where he hasn't got dogs abuse for stupid decisions where even when we've won he's made games that should be comfortable wins into nervous wrecks. Now many argue, like in the 5th season, "hey we won that's all that matters" but they are missing the point. Sure winning is the most important but it set dangerous signs when you can rarely win a game convincingly and as soon as you score you retreat and end up hanging on every time. The 5th season was so similar to the first half of this but then we went on that great run towards the end which Pardew got massive credit for and we benefited from actually spending money on a striker in January and trying to kick on. However the cynic in me now wonders how much of that was because we may have expected to lose Demba Ba that winter and Cisse was his replacement? Bottom line for me, Pardew has a talented squad that he simply can't get the best out of.
  20. Even if he was, we will inevitably get battered down there anyway and he will probably get the blame. Or Ben Arfa, he normally gets the blame.
  21. Just like the Ben Arfa situation. There will come a time, probably when Taylor gets his next inevitable injury or maybe when Colo leaves as expected in the summer and Pardew will expect Mapou to suddenly come in from the cold and be the player we all need. This should be the perfect time for him to be playing every game, learning and gaining experience to eventually replace Colo long term. Instead Pardew takes the easier option and benches the foreigner and picks his local geordie lad because he might whine to the press again if he's not picked. It's Mascherano/Mullins Tevez/Zamora all over again only in a less shocking way.
  22. Said it before. He and his employees, Pardew and Kinnear, have killed my enjoyment in a sport and a club I have loved since I was a kid. I can see myself, for the first time ever, taking nothing but a mild interest in the rest of the season now. There is literally nothing left to play for except maybe 3 more points to confirm we aren't relegated. That's it. Can pretty much see the team going on a heavy losing streak now, similar to most of last season. Next two games are essentially a write off and most of the lads with any sort of world cup aspirations will most likely coast along trying not to get injured. Not to mention nearly every year, the teams comfortably in 8th to 11th tend to start losing to all the teams at the bottom with something left to play for. Season is over. All three are cunts and I pray for the day that each one of them are no longer associated with this great club.
  23. Taylor probably played because he's English, so Pardew felt he and Williamson would communicate better. Plus Taylor is more likely to kick up a fuss if benched unlike Mapou. Same reason he hook Sammy today instead of others as he was easier. Guy is a fraud and a coward.

    Shola Ameobi

Worst part is we can almost guarantee he is starting the next two games.
