HBA scored that wondergoal v Blackburn a couple of years ago and they only showed 2 seconds of it. Wouldn't even stretch as far as 5. 1min ITV are shit at football coverage. Absolute tragedy we only got the 1 angle on shitty low quality picture and not even from the start of his run. That goal deserved far better!

Start Anita instead of Ameobi and possibly Ben Arfa instead of Gouff and I'd say we win that game 9 times out of 10. Shocking line up and then I think what turned it from an inevitable draw into a loss was obviously Debuchy's stupidity.

Why does Pardew keep putting him on the left? He's shit on the left pretty much every time he's put there. If he's going to play him he may aswell put him in his best position. Dunno what happened at the end. Remy's pass seemed to put him wide but thought he could still hit it. This is what annoys me. Shola has been garbage in his last appearances. If Ben Arfa ever played anyone near as bad as Shola he'd get slaughtered. Ben Arfa has worked his arse off getting back into peak shape and trying to impress when he gets his chance. Shola just strolls around but because he's big he gets the nod. Hopefully he proves me wrong but Shola is not the guy you want in away games. I mean we just played the most controlled away game i've seen for ages against Palace so what does he do? Drops Anita for someone we can just launch it to.

actually wasn't that bad against Everton but the whole team was shocking first half and he was the only one trying. Got taken off ofcourse. Hull game was his worst. Everything he did was sloppy and he was at fault for 2 goals.

Feel like he's venturing dangerously into O'Neil territory in terms of not resting players. It's all well and good keeping a winning team together but over this busy schedule I fear some players are beginning to look a bit fatigued. Especially Gouffran and Sissoko who are being asked to do a hell of a lot of running.

Yeah that side netting one was even poorer seeing it again. Had Cabaye incoming on the edge of the box. Still, won't give him too much grief considering he did so well to create the space. Just a shame he's not more consistent with his end product or he'd be a sensational player. Just look how easy he went past Cazorla and Wilshire before trying to play Shola in.

Shows how far we've come that a loss to Arsenal (or whoever was top of the league in the past) has hit everyone hard. In more recent times it's just been a matter of fact when we lose but now we feel like we can match up to them all over the pitch. We came up just short today, you could argue many reasons why. Perhaps simply because they have a better manager, or just bad defending for the set piece etc. But we are definitely a decent side again and shouldn't fear anybody, especially as home.
