Oh jeez, forgot bout them aswell.

Brentford fans surely would be a bit gutted and concerned if they lost their manager, Mbeumo and Wissa in the same summer.

How have I never seen this

Fuckin hate Chelsea. What will they bag if they win this whole tournament? £100m? Pretty much all bits and pieces I've seen have looked like slow pre-season games. Plus they are allowed to just sign players mid tournament and bring them in like Pedro, thought there was supposed to be registered limited squad places, which is while Man City didn't have people like Grealish etc. what was the point of that stupid early transfer window if they are allowed to just play new signing while it's going on anyway? They have finished above us two seasons in a row now and I can't see that changing again this year with their squad depth compared to us. Just feels wrong that we all just have to accept that, despite them clearly being dodgy as fuck.

God that took awhile didn't it? Feel like people have been talking about ol' rapey for years. Good to know Arsenal were able to rinse every bit of usefulness out for him and then get to wash their hands and conveniently not renew his contract just before he's been charged.

Yeah agree with alot of this. I can totally believe that our team doing transfers are not a well oiled machine that can pull off multiple deals and slick as say Liverpool or Man City could do currently. But I'm sure we have sufficient bodies that can push through a deal once we know the player we want. I can imagine the process may just be abit slower and maybe it will be one deal at a time. But as the quoted message says, we have a strict budget and multiple positions to fill, so the balance of getting deals done but not overspending is difficult. Plus no one has any clue what PIF are thinking as they don't communicate fuck all and perhaps getting funds approved by them is proving difficult or slow. But yeah I don't think we need to panic yet so to speak, but I imagine there is shared frustration that the players we wanted are being snapped up by others first.

I see this stuff alot and I'm sure it's a simple slip and you meant 3 windows and not 3 years but i have seen it so often that it shows how easy things can start getting repeated as fact. 2 years ago we signed Tonali, Barnes, Tino, Hall and Minteh. 3 years ago we signed Isak, Botman, Pope and made Targett permanent. So not fuck all and a large reason why we had to slow down and try and balance books the following windows.

Who is your role model? "Me in a year's time" Alright Jake Humphries.

Feel like Elanga is just fast (very fast) but not a lot else. Puts in the odd nice cross and scores counter goals. Happy to be proven wrong if he comes here and smashes it and becomes our best winger. Just feel like if you went out and got a really fast winger on the continent for a fraction of the price, you would probably get a similar impact to what Elanga would have on the team. But I guess there is something to be said for "Premier league proven" Wonder if the club needs to take more chances on potential rather than proven and trust Howe to bring the best out of them.

Can tell Burn can't stand Osula especially from previous videos where he said he'd be the last person he wants to room with. Also, how loveable is Bruno man. Just wana give him a cuddle.

Yep it's all coming up Chelsea Hope they get slapped by PSG or better go out in their next game. Still really irritated how much money they have earned from this already.

For me personally, never saw any evidence of this for Bruce. Only the contrary.
-
He's always looked quite useful whenever I watch him.
-
Don't think it's an obvious dig. Depends what your persuasion is of Bruce. If you hated him like most then yeah it's a funny dig, but if not, then it could just be a innocent nod to a funny moment in recent Geordie folklore. Would have arguably been better with someone who suffered through the Bruce years like Schar or something but then that would have been a more obvious dig

Whoever produced that definitely knew their Newcastle lore. Vibe was spot on.

Winger did great there. Not sure about the defending however.

Yeah need to spend fortunes just to stand still when competing with these established cartel.

Don't need to, just wait for us to agree fees then match it and add on a few extra £'s in wages and done.

Had a delivery driver Chelsea fan just now apparently convinced we were signing Madueke from them. Not seen any rumours about that so no idea where he got that from.

Always felt the window was never going to live up to expectations of many that we sign 5-6 class players. But I cannot forsee a window where we don't do anything, that would be pretty inconceivable and pretty negligent on the club's part. I think we will do some decent business eventually but it won't be the ideal scenario that Howe spoke about unfortunately of getting them in early. Probably not even anyone's fault. This summer has just proven so far that PSR is still bullshit and just keeps the "big 6" at the top and they have had first dibs on any players available so it really is a case of having to sit and wait for the big boys to pick and choose what they want and then seeing what's left from the players we have scouted.

I mean I'm sure most of that article is bollocks. But, and fair enough they can charge what they want he's their player, but come on, what the hell has he done for them to quote anywhere near £85m? The only reason he would be in the £50m bracket for me is purely because they already paid a high fee to get him. But his suspensions last year, and general performance didn't warrant anywhere near an asking price like that and I rate him a lot and think he'd slot in perfectly for us at RW. But the facts are he hasn't lived up to his ability so far and under the right coach like Eddie he could and likely would kick on to a much higher performance level but so far he hasn't shown that at West Ham.
