Why is everyone so surprised to see Spurs on this list? They're a club full of international superstars, managed by one of the most recognizable managers on the planet, have possibly the best (and brand new) stadium in the league, they're supported massively the world over, and they have a "savvy" chairman who is good at putting the club into these kinds of things. I'd be more surprised if they weren't on the list, to be honest.

"Hey see how we got kicked out of domestic league and none of our players are allowed to play for their country? Come join us! It's great...really!"
-
I think at the end of the day this league doesn't actually happen, but if it does, this is spot on. Imagine potentially throwing away 150+ years of a club's tradition for a cash grab. The owners that signed up this should be hung in the square.

If they hold strong and say no Champions League, no domestic league, and no WC football for anyone in the Super League squads, this will fold immediately.
-
Yeah I agree. Agreed.

I feel the complete opposite and I’m sure it’s the opposite of what Amanda & co want too We know that the Saudis don't want any of this played out publicly either.

I was under the assumption, based on previous reports, that they were going to do anything and everything they could before taking it to arbitration because it wasn't a sure shot and was a final answer if we lost. Would not surprise me in the least if they have appealed if that's to be believed.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

Literally this. -
I know Southampton were shit, but looking at the upcoming fixtures and judging based on momentum, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see West Brom pull themselves out of it and for it come down to Fulham, Burnley, Brighton, and us for the other two spots.

Really fucking hope Wolves win.
-
He's settled over here very very quickly. When does he have to go back? Isn't the first MLS match like April 20th?
-
Would really fucking love for the last match not to matter because we were already staying up.
-
Absolutely not. I want to see our club do as well as possible, all of the time.
-
Hoping for three points, as always.

Right? Thought I was being crazy there for a second.

Is that right? If it is, then why does it seem whenever a player gets injured he f***s off (ASM to France) especially during a covid lockdown? Honestly this club stinks from top to bottom. The photos are him at Benton. And yeah, even if he did, why wouldn't you want to be around your wife and kids while you can't train? What a madman for wanting to be close to his family. He didn't so that's fair enough. However, your second point is a load of s*** as he is a paid professional footballer and any injury requires treatment and physio to help recover. Put it this way, I can't remember players under Keegan and Robson being allowed to be away close to their family when under treatment. that also wasn't 2021 when there doctors and physios capable of these kinds of treatments all over the world. We weren't living in the middle ages back then man Agreed. But that was also the era of sending Shearer to Steadman out here in Breckenridge to get the best guy who was doing cruciate ligament surgeries which I'm sure can be done with the same quality all over the world now. What I'm really saying is, why make ASM quarantine in his hotel room when he can rent his own jet and be quarantining around his family? Bruce is a terrible man manager but he's not that fucking bad. It sucks enough to have to quarantine in a house with your family, let alone a big empty house or small apartment 5,000 miles from everything you know that comforts you. The ASM that comes back from that is very different than the one we need. And in the case of wor Callum. Who really gives a shit if he gets a week or so in the sunshine and does his work there, checks in daily, etc. He's not able to do much up in Newcastle so why not let him be comfortable, happy, and ready to hit the ground running when he comes back?

And the least of our worries at this football club are players heading home for a couple of days while they can't actually train with the boys.

Photos of him back in training today with "soon" under it. Thank fuck.

Think this might be our golden generation of talent and we don’t have the Dempseys, Donovans, or Howards of the world (ie: marquee names). Feels a bit like we have some “no names” which is difficult to say because some of them have more talent than all three aforementioned players combined. They just don’t have the household name recognition, yet.

Hard to do when they're just standing there watching him in amazement while he actually plays football.

Would love to see him start instead of Big Joe next week.
