  1. No one supports the other Saudi teams, man .
  2. Potential transfer income included in the 150m? How do they know who we’re selling and how much we’ll be getting from them? Nonsense.

    Scott McTominay

Would be amazing. I think it’d be the case of one or the other with JM and DS though. Replace one of them with Lavia and it’ll have been a near perfect window.
  4. The McTominay hate is wild btw. I get that he’s not incredible but the reaction to just being linked to him is waaay over the top. He’s not that bad ffs and would probably be (at bare minimum) decent enough for us and our system.
  5. I had changed my mind on Veiga after actually watching him in the Barcelona game. Obviously he’s going to Liverpool now that I think he would have been a good signing Hopefully means we’re the best option for Thuram now. Liverpool can’t sign all the midfielders.
  6. Livramento would be great cover for Trippier. Not that I believe it for a second. Pizza Rob
  7. Ridiculous that Boehly’s incompetence will seemingly go unpunished here. Chelsea will probably make over 200m in sales this summer and go on another spending spree. What a joke.
  8. We don’t necessarily need an out-and-out destroyer style dm but someone with a bit of strength, physically and who can win the ball back in midfield would really help the balance imo. In saying that, it’d also be nice to have another player (other than Bruno) with a bit of vision and passing ability. In an ideal world we’d get a player who can do both.

McTominay is reported to be on 50k a week. I think Man Utd would be happy to sell him to us to free up funds for someone like Rice, as well.
  10. Could do but shoe-horning him onto the right when he’s clearly a second striker or a 10 at the expense of a more suitable player (like Madison or DS) doesn’t seem to be in line with the very methodical way in which we plan transfers nowadays. Getting a player just because he’s good and we can, without a plan to play him in his favoured position feels very Chelsea.
  11. Only issue I’d have is, where would we play him?
  12. Saw a report saying he was on 110k a week which was a lot lower than I was expecting. If true, I’d definitely be on board with him coming in on a loan with option deal.
  13. They’re welcome to Kudus but I’d be seething if we missed out on Dom or Maddison.
  14. The annoying thing is, they’ll double whatever we’re offering in wages.
  15. Christ. Wish they’d fuck off, man.
  16. He’s really good. Said this before but he’s the cleanest striker of a ball in world football imo. Insane talent. Either him or a more proven talent in Maddison and we’re laughing.
  17. Didn’t watch it (apologies). Which 2 players?
  18. Connections do help obviously but there’s graft involved in getting those connections; social climbing etc. and putting yourself out there to get in positions to rub shoulders with those kind of people isn’t easy. It’s also not a sure-thing with regards to getting success.
  19. I’m the same. I think it’s his general demeanor; he’s got that distinct smugness/air about him that only someone born into unbelievable wealth has.
  20. Disagree tbh. It’s one of the areas of our first xi that most needs an upgrade. Burn’s been great for the most part but a fully fit Tierney potentially gives us so much more. Great character by all accounts too.
  21. Might just be my lack of knowledge on left-backs but- injury history aside- I can’t think of a better (realistic) option for us than Tierney. If it’s 30m or less then it’d be a great deal imo.
  22. Nah if he’s going to the Saudi league, it’ll be Hilal.
  23. Ah, the mercenary’s playground.
