Gordan reminds me of Almiron but with the advantage of being young enough to (hopefully) iron out his end-product issues. 40m seems steep but, at this point, we really need to get the players in that Howe wants. If that’s Gordan for 40m, then so be it.

There was some scouting report website that gave a glowing reference and predicted massive things from him. Think it was huge missed opportunity from our side.

Their squad has talent even though they’re being wasted currently; seems a few players have regressed under his management. Bailey, in particular, is a player who is being chronically misused. I’d take him if he’s going cheap.

Botman coming in has potentially torpedoed any slim chance Burn has of making the England squad, I think. Target should have a chance though but he doesn’t seem to be that highly rated outside of our NUFC echochamber, unfortunately.
