He’s super well-rounded so could play anywhere in the front 3. Best played as a striker though I’d imagine (he’s deceptively really good at heading). To make a lazy comparison he’s a bit like Perez but better imo.
-
The rawest of raw players. Good energy, pressing, attitude and great physical attributes but he has a bit of Joelinton about him in that he never really seems to strike the ball cleanly. There’s a player there and, for 12 or so million, he’d be a massive bargain imo.

Sell-on clause helps tbf.
-
I fear for this place if he ends up West Ham.
-
Yup. Just a very decent all-rounder. Everything about him just feels right for Howe and our play-style.
-
They want to sell though. Their manager thinks he can get better for 30m (according to that Portuguese journalist).
-
Tbf in hindsight it was a poor decision but to get a perennially double-digit scoring striker in from your relegation rivals, it made sense at the time.
-
Don’t see why not. Has the skillset to play anywhere in the front 3, really.
-
It’s a lovely change to be linked with a player that a club is willing to sell. Gives our “we will only pay x amount” approach a chance of success .

Ramos and Paqueta would be lush. We’ll start dishing out Feijoada in the canteen.
-
Think this one is a goer tbh. Good age, fair price, good attitude, good all-round game, finishing maybe slightly suspect but with intelligent positioning and surprisingly really good in the air. I don’t think he’s an out-of-this-world “special” talent (like Sesko for example) but definitely feels like a Howe player.
-
Would be a very decent signing, especially at that price.
-
He’s very good. 24m seems a reasonable price too.
-
Such a talent but inconsistent and -lazy perhaps isn’t the word- unsuited, let’s say, to teams/systems that require work-rate from your cms/ cams. Really not up to it, physically, to the rigors of the PL imo. I think he’s been unfairly labeled as being a bit fainéant; I just think he’s never going to be effective as a blood and guts centre midfielder. I’m sure there’s some team that could get the most out of him but that won’t be us.
-
My hot-take prediction is that Palace will finish above Wolves and Gerard’s Villa.
-
You’d think for 33 million we wouldn’t just be “considering”, we’d be straight in there.
-
Makes sense if we’re breaking the bank in getting Paqueta
-
It has to work eventually.
-
Lyon supporting mate says they’d only consider selling for over 70 million. The board really really rate him, apparently. We’ll see.
-
don’t do it to yourselves lads, he’ll be joining City.
-
I’m surprised we haven’t been more heavily linked. Fits the profile and just scored 2 goals in 60 minutes in his last game. He’ll probably want a Champions League team (or someone like Arsenal). I’d be astounded if he entertained the idea of joining Forest or even Leeds.
-
I really liked Cabaye at the time (and still do) but Bruno is comfortably better than him at pretty much everything besides shooting.
-
Real Madrid this season too.
-
He’s pretty much a Spanish Wilson, I like him. 35m seems a bit pricey though (if true, which I doubt).
-
That’d be harsh as fuck tbf. Literally insult to injury.
