I don't think the "he looks about 11 years old" joke has been made yet, so you know what? I'm gonna go for it; he looks about 11 years old.

This, pretty much.

Wondered why I couldn't find it. PM a link if you've got the time mate

Anything against Spurs at WHL would have been a bonus so, as it stands, nothing much has changed. The next few games should be a good indicator as to what our fortunes will be like come the end of the season; back-to-back losses and its crisis time.

Looked woefully out of ideas today, although I can completely understand the game-plan; we were away to an in-form team who are very dangerous going forward. We looked to load the midfield and frustrate them while feeding the long ball to Carroll- desperately hoping to nick a goal and then hold on. However, these tactics operate on the assumption that a)we are sturdy defensively and b) our deliveries into the box (from either set pieces and open play) are reasonably precise. We failed on both fronts unfortunately, James Perch is a mess and had no chance against the threat of Lennon while our deliveries were horrendously sub-par.

Needs to learn how to cross the ball more effectively though.

Who got the red?

Truly a baffling decision to sack an up-and-coming manager who had performed admirably well on the limited resources at his disposal. The question now is will Ashley appoint a manager that will take us further? Will he fuck.

Just seen this, how did this happen ffs? Makes you wonder when we're ever going to stop being a laughing stock of a club.

Woman's football could take over the world if they were all oiled up and wearing bikinis. Would probably be a kick in the uterus for feminists though so I can't really see it happening.

A good performance will almost undoubtedly land him a start in the next competitive match; something I can imagine Carroll is dying to be involved in. The club has already displayed its trepidation, but the question is will Carroll put the clubs best interests ahead of his international aspirations, or will he risk further injury trying to cash in on what he might see as a glorious opportunity to get himself into the England set-up? You would hope he would exercise a bit of discretion and pull out until he's fully fit, but the prospect of leading the line for your country at 21 might be seen as too good an opportunity to pass up. FWIW I think he'll play, run himself into the ground and sideline himself for three matches afterward.

He'd be a great signing for Liverpool, i think.

I'm sure Dave made that suggestion in jest. Even if he did want to leave, he'd have much better prospects than Newcastle lining up.

Should've buried one of those, unlucky.

Without trying to sound overly negative, I just fail to see what Lovenkrands will offer us in attack.

How do handicaps work? I just put 20 quid on England -2 and Russia -1, without knowing what they actually mean

Ben Arfa's goal was 112kmph if the punditry team at 'AD Sports' is to be believed.

I really wish we had Umbro or Nike making our kits.

Yes but they've spent upwards of 13 million pounds on an unproven striker in, what looks to be, a desperate panic buy. Not saying he won't be a success, because he might well be, but it's an extremely risky bit of business; especially when there must be plethora of more accomplished candidates out there who would represent less of a gamble for them.
