MBS has done wonders for finally improving women’s rights in KSA; he deserves a lot of credit for that as well as being (at least from what I’ve seen in Jeddah and Riyadh) the spearhead for a more “progressive” KSA. There is, justifiably, a lot of criticism to be leveled at him but I’ve seen so many incredibly positive changes in the last 5 years in Saudi as a direct result of him coming into power.

Exactly. Bruce was given 100 million pounds as well and we visibly regressed despite having better players.

Probably not anymore but always thought Lage was underrated. Likewise Dean Smith and Hassenhuttl. Obvious ones but yeah Lampard is very overrated and, to a lesser degree, Gerard as well.

This lot are better away than at home, strangely. If ASM and Manquilo are back I’d be very confident of a home win.

Our very congested fixture list in March has me slightly worried. Winnable games on paper but not sure our squad is good enough to get the results with all the inevitable squad rotation and potential injuries. Fwiw I’m confident, to an extent, that we’ll survive but I imagine the table won’t be anywhere near as flattering 3 weeks from now. Or it could be and I’m just a massive fanny .
