  1. How much would people accept for Gordon? 70m? 80? He’s as good, and maybe even arguably better than him so…
  2. Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham have been credited with an interest in him. Also us. We’re a top team. He fits us so well, man. He’s also not as limited as you’re making out btw.
  3. It’s pricey but their profiles are fairly unique. Speedy, two-footed, pressers, who track back don’t grow on trees. There’s a reason top clubs are targeting them.
  4. And yet despite your opinion, I’m sure they’ll both go for 60m plus to a top team. They’re both worth it imo. How much would you take for Gordon, out of interest?
  5. Read somewhere that it’s 50% on any profit made? Who knows. Doesn’t help either way if we want him for a “fair” ish price.
  6. He’s as good as Semenyo who’ll go for similar, if not more. Plus, don’t Man Utd have a 50% claim on any profit made on the deal? Would suggest that they’d need more to cover for that.
  7. Why would it excite you more ? “Guy I’ve never heard of> one of the best defenders in the Premier League”
  8. “Very solid” would be an understatement .
  9. Do they have an ambitious project? Not super familiar with how they’ve been operating lately,
  10. Oxlade-chamberlain and Richarlison went for over 35m almost a decade ago.
  11. @Dr.Spaceman Bit of a shan opinion on Bournemouth, that. What else do you want them to do ? I’m sure if it was someone like Darlington doing the same you’d be looking at it a lot more fondly.
  12. How does that work for add-ons and performance clauses? Might be a good workaround for both clubs?
  13. We want someone who can play really wide but also cut in and also press aggressively and also track back and also be fast and also have top level experience and also have end product and also be positionally versatile and also have a good attitude and also be 24 or under and also not be on massive wages. Not many players fit those criteria; Elanga does. I’m confused as to why people don’t think he’d be a massive success here.
  14. He’s a worse version imo; poster boy for no brain but he run fast. In fact, I’m pretty sure he’s the player some people on here think Elanga is.
  15. New PSR period starts after June and of course, no club wants to miss the age-old ritual of having their first bid promptly rejected.
  16. Every Forrest fan I know says they they’d prefer to sell any other player in their squad over Elanga (similar to the convos we’re having about Isak). Doesn’t look like this is happening; would take daft money seemingly. Doesn’t seem like even 60m would sway them. Shame. Think he’d be perfect for us.
  17. I’d assume it’s ridiculously high otherwise we’d not bother sounding out offers etc.
  18. I can kinda see where they're coming from. If he manages to have a solid, injury-free season, they could suddenly find themselves fielding offers from several top clubs. Why sell now at a discount?
  19. I like Weah; especially for that kind of money. Think he’d do really well under Howe too.
  20. He mainly plays in a back 3.
  21. If the Scalvini rumour is true then it suggests we’ll be lining up with back a 3/ back 5 more in the coming season.
  22. Are future add-ons factored in when it comes to amortizing transfer fees (eg a few deals having 10-15m in achievable add-ons but likely deferring the payment to another future period)? If so, it might be achievable without significant sales, maybe? Quick maffs suggests we’re looking at a 120m ish transfer kitty, maybe up to 150m/160m if we’re wanting to be bold. How accurate is that in your (and other psr wizards on here) opinion?
  23. Can we afford Trafford, Pedro, Elanga/Akliouche and a new cb? Not much change for 200m right there.

    Marc Guehi

Palace will sell him this window but not for less than 45m, and not early on imo. My guess is he leaves on a deadline day Levy special.
