I know it’s supposed to be foreshortened but it makes him look like he’s got Deadpool baby legs
-
He’s quite inconsistent and lacks end-product. Lots lots of talent there though; at the right price I’d definitely take him (but I doubt West Ham will sell for less than 60),
-
I think any decent offers that come in for either would be entertained for sure.
-
What if we sold Willock and Longstaff and received like 40 odd million? Genuine question. I assume we’ll always take it to the limit while assuming (perhaps naively) that commercial income will increase year-on-year.
-
Pedro, Elanga, Guehi/Diomande, Trafford?
-
Hojlund went for 72m. We’d want 80m for our right-back. A worse player in Ekitike will go for more money too. It’s a reasonably fair price imo, maybe 5-10m on the high side but that’s Brighton.
-
Decent defenders are going for 50m. 60m isn’t an obscene price to pay for a versatile young forward that could make it into most top teams’ starting xi’s.
-
Sesko’s going for 70 odd, Semenya 60-70m, Ekitike 70m plus, Wirtz 130 plus etc. 60m isn’t that much for a young attacking player tbh. The fact that they want rid should put the price down but Brighton are good sellers so it balances out.

Thought I was going mad. Was sure I’d read that article already . I don’t usually get on board with the local journalist bashing but that’s so poor, man.
-
He’s not been that bad, lads. Christ. I’m sure he’ll be back to being one of our most effective players again next season.
-
I’ll be honest I’d never heard of him before he started aligning with our club. I don’t think he’s particularly big outside the UK. Still, love the passion and he seems to be a source of pride for the City so all power to him. Very strange and funny that he seems to trigger an entire fanbase too.
-
Would probably finance a move for Ramsay. Not sure he’s the right profile of midfielder we need, personally but it’s an upgrade on Sean (on paper).
-
I think it’s just because he’s had a very poor season and is a bit of a risk, even at 17m. He’s honestly looked awful for 6 months now. We have the money to push on and buy a real PROVEN quality addition for that right-wing spot, which is what we’re going to do imo.
-
Unless they’re all Gatey specials.
-
80m would be mad money to turn down for a Rb… wouldn’t take it though; love Tino. Not many players around now with his kind of profile.
-
You’re very much getting 17m worth of player according to PSV fans. IMO, with the CL qualification we need to pull away from teams now and if we have money we should get the best rw that will agree to join us (and can afford).
-
Man Utd are still super widely supported and can offer massive wages. Couple of bad seasons won’t significantly change their “pull”, unfortunately. What’s even more annoying is the fact that PSR is helping them stay competitive; ambitious teams like ourselves should be pulling away from them based on the showings last season but it’s not allowed to happen.
-
Think he’ll end up at Liverpool or one of the other cartel clubs looking for an attacker, unfortunately. Hope I’m wrong; think he’d be class for us.
-
Think we may end up with Outtarra from Bournemouth. He just feels like an Eddie Howe signing; can’t imagine he’d be going for more than 40m too. Would be a fairly shrewd signing for around 35m imo.
-
My issue with Sancho is his lack of professionalism and the fact that he’s seemingly got the heart of a pea. The lad plays like he’s afraid the grass might tackle him.
-
Think the “no dickhead rule” applies to their work ethic, professionalism and ability to get along with team mates. Eddie’s always harping on about the characters within our squad so it’s certainly something we’re looking into.
-
He’s great on the ball, what are you on about? His really good distribution (along with shot stopping, age etc.) is one of the reasons he’s so highly rated.
-
There’s this strange narrative that PSR has led to a more competitive premier league landscape (partly or wholly because cartel clubs like Man Utd and spurs have fucked it last season). Unfortunately them fucking up has led to more support for the PSR rules; seems like even when they absolutely fail they’re still reaping the rewards somewhat. Infuriating.
