  1. Re the issues with Newcastle United being owned allegedly by the Saudi State, interesting to see Kier Starlen off to Saudi to wangle a free trade agreement,I assume all the crap we get will now move on and be allowed to run the club without worrying about the financials , or am I nieve.
  2. I believe if we stay with Howe , January comes and goes and remain in roughly same situation, minus European competition, was does that tell you about the owners, they take the gamble he can still do it, or they're saving wedge on a compensation package bearing in mind I'm not sure when his contract is up.
  3. Depends who they play against, one minute top class, next crap
  4. Only because we haven't been playing him correctly, down to management team.
  5. Shocking really to think a young lad basically and only 34 may not be able to hack it much longer in the premier .
  6. Because one swallow don't make a summer, if couldn't do it against poor opposition and only pick up points against the cartel, then that may well be the deciding factor.
  7. Whilst scored a brilliant goal, thought he still looked a bit lethargic, time will tell over the coming games, still expect someone to come for him in January though to test our resolve especially if Europe out of the window.
  8. I don't do FPL but to me I think your probably correct , Howe reckons he's missing next two games if you believe what he says
  9. Problem here is, he says he's fit but is that to manage 60/70mins if can't manage full game in my eyes then he's not fit
  10. Why is this on TV ? for the benefit of showing how many goals Liverpool may score and if they do get a few use it to perhaps embarrass our club and owners with the old crap of richest club in the world nonsense.

    Will Osula

Dare I venture whose at fault for not playing to a player's strengths in the same vein when Isak plays for Sweden.
  12. So how long do we give him, until the string runs out, or do we strike now, whilst we still have the chance of top 4/6 , much longer and our position may become untenable and resulting in the manager departing anyways, better proactive as opposed to reactive
  13. No, always been told your as good as your last job and unfortunately for managers that's the way it is results driven, can't see any positives hanging onto him for much longer.

    In memoriam

Use to watch him in the 60's always reminded me of a Norman Hunter type playet
  15. Which means do we wish to be a Brighton/ Brentford or Man City / Liverpool
  16. We don't win this, lose against Liverpool lower half of table beckons, then what, especially as those above us start to climb away, maybe then becomes difficult to get some decent players in to upgrade us.
  17. Get rid, time to move on.If he remains here through the transfer window and we don't move on then forget Europe. He never learns from his mistakes , doesn't appear to have any in game ideas, sorry but not for me.
  18. Yeah I'm always optimistic, but we've been struggling and what is the point in having lads on the bench if they're not getting the chance to come on, or Eddie, thinking they're not good enough so why put them on as fillers
  19. Why no young striker on the bench, if we are having two keepers on , should of ditched one of them and put young striker on bench
