On a game by game basis - Joelinton over Woltemade for this one. The rest was rotational and seeing the game out. For which Howe would be criticised either way. Wissa is having and going to have a nothing season. The fact we're competing like we are is actually praise for Howe in my eyes rather than the opposite. My biggest issue tonight is our acceptance of defeat versus Manchester City. Like they're some sort of palatable cunt who always defeats us. We respect them far too much on and off the pitch. Let's not forget these cunts are kicking the can down the road and just one of the many hurdles facing our status as rightful supreme leaders - as we are without a doubt from the centre only the known universe. He's far from fantastic like. He's played well in several games since the turn of the year that's about it.

I still believe he isn’t a number 9 and/or a striker. He's the best of a "bad bunch" we have as "strikers" at the club at present. Howe can really get the most out of players and is a wonderful coach with a wonderful team around him. Gordon has acceleration and that's his largest tool. When he applies himself he can be a real handful but his movement as a striker and finishing are both average at best, for me. He is best placed on the wings. Thought he was excellent last night along with several others though, if not the full team.

Say what you like about Eddie Howe but he 100% has the dressing room. He has about 90% of fans I reckon and possibly even 99% of regular match going fans (see the fans singing EIEIEIO at 2-1). All made up numbers (I know). But you cannot ever fault his commitment and that of his team overall. He is an outstanding man manager, a bold (and sometimes stubborn), but wise tactician, the majority of signings under his tenure have been fantastic and above all else he's a really, really fucking decent human being. Long live the king.
