  1. Cheers mate. It's sometimes hard to actually accept players making positive comments as you get a cynical feeling of "they have to say that about their own fans" but I truly hope it's genuine for the most part and they generally feel the love and support they receive here. When Newcastle is on the move it's unstoppable. It's just overcoming it's initial inertia that is the difficult part
  2. Really appreciate it mate! I've said it before and apologies for maybe sounding a reet wet wipe but what the group achieves is nothing short of remarkable and it is entirely down to dedication and hard work. Internally, we're aware of improvements we can make and we're going to be attempting to make them this next 6months or so, (I hope!) to maximise efficiency and remove wasted time etc. It is almost a never ending process at present but hopefully going into the new season we will be able to achieve the same through less effort. That will make it more enjoyable for the group and sociable. However, I really cannot compliment the group enough. They're almost all working men and women apart from one or two retirees, some with their own businesses and a fair few with young families. The time and effort that goes into the operation is nothing short of phenomenal, and of course, we couldn't do it without the physical or monetary contributions of the Newcastle United support. They're just a bunch of really, really good people with good core values and a shared and common goal at the end of what they do.
  3. Probably but I honestly don't think it'd be hard for them to sort without giving too much away.
  4. This process has been with the club for years now. We keep pushing.
  5. Just to avoid any further confusion we deconstructed the old badge and put the castle in one end and magpie in the other with a little bit of artistic licence. Should have done the two ends the opposite way around in hindsight but hey ho, we know for next time. Still thought it looked great personally (but obviously I am biased). Probably not our best but good!
  6. No, it wasn't any hidden message or owt but they absolutely need to remove that Sports Direct version ASAP.
  7. Agree that would have been a good message. Just hard to find the right words sometimes that's all and some in the group (as on the forum) weren't as positive as perhaps you and I. Even though the group is small at around 35 people, that makes it difficult to all align on a message sometimes.
  8. You are of course entitled to your opinion and understand displays such as this won't be to everyone's taste. However, to our defence it is nigh on impossible to generate a 'message' that encapsulates the feeling of the fan base every single week and likewise it would lose its impact were that to be an "every game" thing. I am actually in agreement that those displays with a clear message are the most important and impactful. The group would say the same. However, what would your message be today and do you think that message would be the view of the majority of the fanbase? (Not being a dick. Just curious.) Today was about showing them visually of our love for the club because we were struggling to really hit the right notes that we did with the messages from the Geordies and Brazilians displays in recent outings (which were clear and strong).Dare I say it, but no supporter group or ultra group worldwide does that. In fact a lot don't go big every other fixture. They go big for big games and that's it. Anyways, like I say, fair enough if you didn't like it. We have to take the rough with the smooth. Personally though, I'd take from it that it was still far, far better than nearly every English club would be doing for their final home game of the season and seemingly the atmosphere (from what I have read) at least started on the right note as a result, which ultimately is ou role (to b a catalyst). Apologies if this seems somewhat defensive, but ultimately I'm going to be
  9. It is aye. Was a bit lost on the Gallowgate with the lighting we maybe should have swapped the ends as the magpie would have been seen on the bottom Tiers still
  10. Devils advocate here, but not being in Europe might just improve our chances of winning a domestic trophy next year like.
  11. I thought you were one when you were clawing out those shots Hope my glorious couple of nutmegs made the highlights and my 1 on 1s were appropriately edited out.
  12. He has really high standards like and that's what makes him as good as he is. I fucking love him me like. Love footballers who just get 'it'
  13. MK Dons man. Hadaway and shite. Howay Crawley
  14. Fancy Chelsea to beat Bournemouth at home. Wouldn't put it past Brighton getting at least 4 points from the next two potentially like.
  15. I mean apart from the obvious of us potentially not being in Europe, I'd fucking hate that some of the self-nominated super 6 get back into Europe like. Edging out Chelsea and Man United would be great for the league. Entitled twats. The lot of them.
  16. Fucking get in. Champions League here we come! #JustForBalance
  17. Evidently killed me. Missed the Toon match as started getting a migraine. Gutted.
  18. Get people being down after the game like but just need to try and maintain some rationale. All I've read on here and WhatsApp since the end of the game is Bruno is saying his goodbyes and we aren't getting Europe because we've fucked it
