  1. Excellent work this and exactly the sort of stuff the trust should be doing. A big win I'd say.
  2. Yep, it was his best game for us because he did the right things at the right times.
  3. Didn't pressure when he was supposed to be (as the rest of the squad had been desperately doing for like 68mins before), stayed down longer than he needed to when we were under pressure, made bad decisions with the ball, just the general - when he's not having a good game ASM things. He's clearly very talented and likeable but he seemingly has a bee in his bonnet, and that in turn is leaving many, like me, with a bee in my bonnet, because there's nowt for us to theoretically be whinging about at present at NUFC.
  4. Very accurate the post and quoted post above for me. Our squad is more than the sum of its parts at present and there's only one 'bad' apple at present and it's not Shelvey. I like ASM, he's mint crack, he's a massive talent, and he can be a real superstar, but he won't ever reach the heights he's capable of without addressing his flaws, and the sad thing is, his flaws should be easily addressed, because it largely centres around attitude and mentality.
  5. If someone raped my sister. I'd likely kill them. Guess I'm a nutcase.
  6. I'm not saying there is. However, most 'normal' people would probably be deterred more greatly by the punishment of death than 25 years, particularly for anger or revenge crime. However, I also suspect more suicidal people are probably more likely to kill with capital punishment, potentially.
  7. But most people, I'd argue, are less likely to kill out of revenge or anger if there's a death penalty.
  8. But how do they know there'd be more/less murders if capital punsihment was applied? Could it not just be that they're less violent states? Playing devils advocate here...
  9. They did but it's only part of the story isn't it. Like everyone is rushing off to say how disgraceful it is, etc. But those 81 could be paedophiles, rapists, mass murderers, etc. Likewise they could be human rights protestors, etc. No one knows, and everyone is rushing off to finish the plot so to speak. This is where NO let's itself fown for me. As soon as anyone goes slightly against the grain they're defined as some sort of apologist for the Tories, the Saudis, etc. Etc. The point I'm making is, that there is more than meets the eye with this stuff and we're all speculating.
  10. Surely the same could be applied to this statement in the opposite direction?
  11. The media create their own narratives that's what annoys me most. I mean we're all guilty of it, but the media and powers that be have the power to change it, we don't.
  12. Surely that's just a bit sarcasm like. Howay. Anyways, from my occasional outing into this thread I think people need to realise these particular subjects are sensitive and to try and be a bit open minded to the discussion. Otherwise it's an echo chamber of abuse and the same opinions...
  13. I don't think so. The whole team are beating this 'team' mantra which I love. There are no superstars and the team is becoming more than the sum of its components. The Dubravka, Shelvey and Wood interviews are all fantastic and everything just seems to much more controlled and professional.
  14. Quality interview. "I won't be goving Tuchel any advice."
  15. Is Eddie Howe's pré-match presser anywhere? EDIT: Yes. Yes it is Heron if you just looked you lazy bastard. soz fella
