  1. When the club stops feeling the affects of his tenure. Technically we have really. It's Ashley's tenure that we're feeling the wrath of. Not fully. His years of mismanagement and negative tactics were largely responsible for our relegation. Since then we have struggled to bounc back to a consistent decent level of performance (not helped by Ashley). Even now some aspects of Pardew ball still creeps into the squad when the chips are down. Sorry like, but that is a load of rubbish. We've had numerous managers since, Pardew's legacy left with Pardew's mercenaries. There's not an ounce of Pardew's legacy left at Newcastle United now, it left when we sold the likes of Sissoko and Wijnaldum. It fucking didn’t you know. Even last season when we had the ability to rip teams apart and Rafa’s game plan we still had Pardew moments combined with Pardew players (Colback). Okay, so Colback maybe as an anomaly but he has been entirely frozen out now. So, my point still stands. Rob Elliot, the man who publically backer Pardew and said a club like us should never expect to compete at a level above relegation fighting. Fair enough, the man backed his manager. He backed what he was saying. This is the bloke that give him his "big break" though so why wouldn't he. I'm sure Rob Elliott no longer sees it that way and I'm fairly sure he realises that with a manager of Rafa's calibre that actually this club is capable of more. Pardew's "legacy" is gone man. Not all of the players might be but the mentality is.

  3. When the contrast between his results and his self esteem stops being funny. That I can entirely accept.

The mantaility of mercenary players using the club with no respect and using us as a stepping stone was very much Alan Pardew. Wijnaldum was one of those. We don't have that now. Bad example maybe, but an example of what Pardew's reign stood for.
  5. When the club stops feeling the affects of his tenure. Technically we have really. It's Ashley's tenure that we're feeling the wrath of. Think i disagree with that. Pardew being there for as long as he was strengthened Ashley's grip on the club a lot. That was Ashley's doing not Pardew's though. Ashley calls the shots not Pardew with relation to whether he was in the managers seat.

  7. I can respect the team easy enough. They are very good and exciting to watch. What I cantcrespect is their fan base which has been historically poor and they now go on as if they've earned their good fortune with such a lack of humility or historical perspective which even Chelsea have. They're fans are uber-cunts like. Manchester Mackems. Mind you, if we were humping people week in week out as a result of massive player expenditure I'd probably be a self-righteous arrogant twat too.
  8. Had a 5 team accumulator on Match results, BTTS. Had 3 out of 5 correct and then Norwich bagged a 2nd. Cashed out at £64 and it's optimal amount and thankfully so as Huddersfield didn't score again and nor did Birmingham. Happy days. Got about £6.50 on Liverpool, and two draws between Brentford and Villa, and Lazio and Fiorentina now. Get that and it's a £95 quid return. Fingers crossed... £55 quid up regardless now.

  10. When do we just forget about this chap? Out of curiosity Hope he takes West Brom down like, purely for our benefit. If he saves us, he can truly become one of our greats. Better than Rafa even.
  11. The way City have done it is the only way a club like us are ever going to be regular title challengers unfortunately. Now they are, aye. Until the English game implodes, at least. There again, Leicester did it...

thing is with all this 1 point in 9 or whatever it was. There was 9 games proceeding it where we did fantastic. If we won one then lost one to this point no one would have owt to say. We've had more difficult games over the last 6 weeks, simple really.
  13. I struggle to respect this Man City team to be honest. It's nothing but sheer cash that has made them what they are... Truly memorable teams are ones that have been developed from next to nothing. Memorable players, aye, maybe, but the Leicester team is a more memorable team, simply because it was more than the sum of it's parts.

Beating Brighton is most important out of those games that are almost upon us. We've taken 3 from Stoke so taking a draw away to them wouldn't be terrible. Beat Brighton and get anything other than an absolute dicking of Man City and we're doing okay.

Aye, exactly. Extremely unlikely but a win tomorrow would be a nigh on perfect Christmas break. So long as we follow it up with no defeats vs Stoke and Brighton.

If this is the so-called Pub League what does that make the newly promoted teams from League One? Kids teams? They've been absolutely donkey-punched by half of the league and somehow have a chance of staying up. Fuck knows how...inbreds.
  17. Wouldn't surprise me if he was used tomorrow, if not to start, later in the game. If Rafa wants rid then it's an opportunity to put him in the shop window. We don't have the squad to play the same team all season and as has been seen sometimes the players left out in he cold can come in and do a job if they're motivated. Think he'd be a handful if he was fired up. The problem is I'd see him being a potential liability again which works against him from a discipline point of view, which means Rafa might not want to is playing with 10men...
  18. Absolute must win game if we're gonna win the league.
  19. Felling Mag is also a Jew. He just isn't as nice.
  20. Really? I just presumed it's cause West Ham are cunts.
  21. Aye. I'm with HTT on that like. Show that we're still by our poorly ran club
  22. Likewise. HTT has made some top posts recently especially relating to Benitez and the club.
