What I would say in defence is that virtually every other song was also sung.

Stop bickering and watch the Villains of Aston @ the Newcastle Magpies.

Willock offers us more than Anderson. In all honesty - whilst I liked the kid and he's a good footballer he was probably 4th or 5th choice at CM for us. I'm of the view Miley holds more promise for us.

Awful song. He has his own decent song.

Glad to hear it! Not our best calendar submission tbh but it still features our displays. -
I didn't know that but it's interesting, thanks

Will end up with some generic circular fucking shite no doubt.

Isak will have thought the same. That's the thing. Cause he has higher standards because of his ability. Whereas Murphy is and rightly so, chuffed he's been probably our most productive attacking playing in December.

I personally understand the likes of Murphy reacting a certain way. Because he gets far more shit than someone like Gordon who when he misses a sitter fans will sing his name to re-encourage him, Murphy and similar get audible gasps and no doubt the occasional audible (for the players) abuse. I've just put it in the Murphy thread but folk should have lesser expectations of lesser quality players and should really rally behind them when giving their all and actually having a good spell. This should be done with all players not just those with lesser ability. Yet folk only seem willing to get behind those with a higher general ability. Gordon has probably missed more and more important sitters this season and played generally below his high level and little is said. I love Gordon by the way. Just don't like how lesser (generally) able players get shit so easily.

I don't know if it's this forum or a wider "thing" but you have players like Jacob Murphy and Almiron who go through purple patches, they're playing almost beyond their standard level because the manager has done a wonderful job with them and they've shown all the right attitudes as a professional and even despite this, folk are desperate to say how shite they are and yet they're playing beyond their general level of capability and should be applauded for doing so. Then to the flipside you have Isak who despite being genuinely international/world class missing numerous great chances in recent weeks, and probably as a better comparison Anthony Gordon who is a winger who has also missed numerous golden opportunities this season, who isn't playing to his level of capability and virtually nowt will be said about him, simply because folk know the quality absolutely is there. Might just be my perception, just what I feel I see, but it's nonetheless a bit bizarre to me. The former is far more credible, albeit even if it just in the short term view.

What poor signings?

Looking so much better in a more advanced position

Less wil be made of Murphy than others, but he has been fantastic recently. Like others he probably could have had 3 or 4 more goals in recent games but nonetheless has a great record of goals and assists. Seems like he just loves life and treasures playing for us too. Great to see.

Slowly but surely aye.

Arabic commentators mentioning it too it seems...

What a fantastic week. Eddie Howe take a bow. Doesn't matter the opposition you still have to beat them. Now let's do them Brummie twats.

Haha nice try with your pork pie, Ronnie.
