I'll be honest - I don't know much about all 3. But Zidane and Xavi don't strike me as available or perhaps better options. Allegri seems the most likely best of the three (if any) if we were to switch.

You could say the same about any potential impending replacement though. That would all be based on what they HAVE DONE and not even here. I don't really see that many obvious and available options who would a) massively improve us given other contraints and b) want to be here at the moment and fonally c) I don't think what he has done for us warrants him being replaced.

We are scarred. Rightly so. Ashley stripped thie club to the very bare minimum and the brink of capitulation. I just prefer to put my faith in folk who, in my opinion, have done enough to warrant my faith. I think for us to turn our back on Howe now, or any time prior to March would be, somewhat fickle. The club needs unity and positivity and we'll be alreet. At the moment we're hovering over a big red panic button (as 'supporters').

Think he's been outstanding in difficult circumstances since he arrived, until the summer personally and as you rightly say, this season we have regressed ever so slightly. Just looking at our last 4 games though and scoring our big opportunities we come out with at least 6 more points and it's a different situation. Prior to that, we had poor performances but points. Not seeing much recognition of Eddie making the right substitutes to influence those fixtures and now he is utilising certain individuals (not you) that folk were desperately calling for starts, and it isn't working it's all Eddie's fault? Interesting.

Fair. I'd be tempted to see Schar as DM tbh in a 3-5-2/5-3-2. I posted something a little while back which I think would work.

Agreed. Don't think you can account for the whole last calender year though. He is accountable for the start of this season to now for me, and that's only 9 games. Hence why in my eyes he absolutely deserves at the bare mininum the rest of the season. We are so close to clicking.

It's absolutely fair to critique Howe by the way and he does need to change things up and find a solution, but the way some folk go on, on here is nothing short of ridiculous. You'd think he hadn't dragged a championship side to almost the top ten and then into the CL and a cup final...

Get your point and the frustration, but I'm confident it will click for us at some point through some minor tinkering. We aren't far off. People talk about RWs and Strikers but perhaps a proper DM sorts us out significantly. I am keeping my faith in Howe as quite simply - he warrants it.
